Best University to do M.Sc. in Electronics .

Placements: As a student of the M.Sc. Electronics programme at Vidyasagar University, I can confidently say that our placements are quite impressive. In our batch, around 70% of students were placed in various companies, with the highest package being Rs. 8 Lacs per annum and the average package standing at Rs. 5 Lacs per annum. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Teach Mahindra are some of the top recruiters for our course. Additional, around 60% of us secured internships from renowned companies like Intel, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments.

Infrastructure: Regarding infrastructure, I find it satisfactory. Our labs are well-equipped with the latest instruments, and classrooms have projectors and Wi-Fi connectivity. The library provides access to relevant books and journals, and hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and adequate amenities. While the mess and canteen offer decent quality food, there are some rooms for improvement in sports and games facilities.

Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable, with relevant qualifications and industry experience. The teaching quality is commendable, with a good balance between theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum covers essential topics like digital electronics, microprocessors, and communication systems, making us industry-ready. The semester exams, while moderate difficult, have a reasonable pass-percentage, ensuring a fair assessment of our knowledge and skills.
