Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject.
Yes, there are specific interview rounds for the integrated law programmes at the Vidyashilp University. The university offers BA LLB & BMS LLB programmes. The university gives preference to students having entrance score. Shortlisted students have to appear for one-on-one discussion with the programme head. It is then followed by an interaction with the academic dean.

For admission to the Vidyashilp BTech programme, the minimum requirements are given below:
Qualifying exam: JEE Main/ State Engineering Entrance exams
Eligibility:
- A minimum of 50% aggregate in Class 12 from a recognised board Or IB Diploma or certificate
- English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science or technical vocational as an optional subject
- IB Diploma or IB Certificate with a minimum average of 4 points for Physics, Mathematics and any optional subject with a minimum of 24 points (overall)
*Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Mechanical streams
Or
A Level: Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science or technical vocational as an optional subject in the ‘A’ Level and English in the ‘AS’ / IGCSE/ GCSE
