Honest review of Vikram University.
Placements: Placement records are not good. The college faculty collaborates with many industries and provides internship opportunities to students. The highest package offered to our senior was 4.5 LPA and the lowest was 1.7 LPA. Students can apply in various biotech companies like Amul, Sanchi, Pfizer, Bharat Biotech, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Labs are available for research work. The college faculty is very supportive, and sometimes it also provides grants to the students for their research work. Other facilities, like libraries and museums, are also available. There are 4 hostels for students coming from distant places.
Faculty: The faculty members are well experienced and very supportive. They help us with not only problems related to them but other problems too. They are always ready to guide us. The exams are taken semester-wise. The level of the semester exams is moderate. The minimum CGPA required to qualify for the exam is 4.

There are really good placements for computer science students.
Placements: There were good placements for IT and computer science students. Many students have been placed in companies like Wipro, etc. For biotechnology students, there were placements in the health care sector. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. Our college offers B.Sc in computer science, BCA B.Sc in biotechnology, microbiology, SEED technology, BBA and B.A streams.
Infrastructure: There was no hostel in our college. The infrastructure of our college was nice. There was a library specifically for studying. The quality of classrooms provided here was also excellent. Our college is situated in a very peaceful environment. It has a beautiful garden also.
Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified. They are very friendly and behave familiarly with students. They are helpful and knowledgeable also. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much tough if we study properly.

Our college infrastructure is good. Placements are good. You must take admission to this college.
Placements: About 55% of the students were placed from B.Sc. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Pharma companies and Dabre also visit here for placements. About 46% of the students got internships in Dabur, and our university is on the top in Ujjain. There are also many courses in our university, and many colleges are affiliated with this university.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility on the entire campus, and there is a computer lab. There is a good hostel with a 24x7 water facility and electricity facility. There are sports facilities also like volleyball, table tennis and also many other facilities. There is a small theatre on the campus and good infrastructure in this college.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, and there is a doubt counter also. If you have a problem, then you can call teachers also. There are semester exams also and yearly exams. The pass percentage is 45% also. Many placements were also provided in the college in 2014. There is a 65% placement rate, which is the highest placement rate in this college.
Other: I chose this course because of Ujjain University.

Overall, it is a good university in Ujjain.
Placements: Vikram University is a government university located in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. It is named after a great king named Vikramaditya. As it is a government university, placements are not offered regularly. Some employment camps are organised here, but big companies don't visit here. So, there are no chances for placements in top MNCs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but it is not that great because it was established many years ago. It lacks some modern facilities. Still, necessary requirements are fulfilled here. Labs and the library are in good condition and have important materials for students. The hostel facility is just average, so I suggest others not to expect much from it.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified professionals, and they have more than enough knowledge to teach students. English medium students have to look for other resources to study because the majority of students here are from Hindi medium.
Other: The college charges a very low fee, which makes it a good college for financially weak and middle-class students.

The college is good. Good faculty and staff, but average infrastructure and low placements.
Placements: Placements are provided for others fields like computer and nursing, but there are no more placements offered for biotech. Low salary packages are offered in campus placements for biotech. Biotech is also a tremendous field, but the kind of salary they offer for the work we do is not great. A biotech graduate's salary is too low in India, but it is high in foreign countries.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. But the problem is that biotech field requires high practical skills. Our college focuses on theory, but we need experience and practical knowledge. Food quality is medium, and prices are low in the hostel. There are labs but, only 5 of them work in practical. The Classrooms are too good, and the education they provide is also good.
Faculty: Faculty and staff are excellent, but you need to give your best. There are highly qualified teachers. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20. The method of teaching is neither good nor bad; it is average because every teacher's technique is different. The university offers some common courses as well as some special courses.
Other: Events like annual function are conducted on campus before the break. The campus crowd is good. Many companies come to the campus and offer jobs in the Rojgar Mela event. Connectivity to college is average. The campus buildings are too big, but some branches have low faculty and staff. Before 2018, Rs.10,000 scholarship was offered, but after 2018, the scholarship has been reduced to Rs. 3,000 only. Extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, plantation, a visit to a factory field, a trip to industry, educational seminars, etc. are conducted.
