However, admission to all the programmes is merit-based except for a very few programmes which are based on the entrance exam. The university accepts admission on the basis of CUET entrance test. The university also accepts JEE Main for its BTech programme. The eligibility for some courses is a score of a minimum of 65% in class 12th with Science and math.

Out of all the affiliated colleges and institutes, R.B.S. Institute of Education and Shri Guru Sandipani Institute of Management, have the highest intake with 180 seats.

As per official sources, 1000+ students can do MBA from Vikram University at a time. These seats are distributed among the colleges affiliated with the university.
