CMA Last Month Preparation Tips
CMA aspirants must keep the last month for intensive revision and practice only. Learning new topics around this time can confuse the candidate and make them anxious about their performance in the exam. Below are some useful tips that a student must follow a month before the D-day:
1. Solve Mock Tests: A candidate must have completed the syllabus by now and should focus on solving as many MTPs and Revision Test Papers (RTPs) as possible. Solving mock exams in an exam-like environment can help students build confidence for exam day and improve time management. Mock tests also give an idea of the type of questions asked and can help make a plan for the flow of answering questions on exam day.
2. Revise Formulas: Candidates must have prepared a revision notebook including formula sheets, summary notes, and flashcards. Revise them daily to avoid forgetting them during the exam. Knowing the basic concept and formula is essential in solving a question. With proper concept understanding, solving application-based questions becomes easy, and remembering the formula allows one to actually implement the concept.
3. Analyze Mock Exams: One should not just stop at taking mock exams. Analyzing them and understanding where you lack is important for students. If an answer is marked incorrect, understand the reason behind the correct one and revise that topic one more time to avoid making such mistakes.
4. Full Revision: The last few days before the exam should always be reserved for full-fledged revision. Stop solving complex problems at this time and do not try to indulge in learning something new.
Note: ICMAI releases CMA study material for all three courses on its official website. Students must ensure to check them for the chapters and topics to be covered for the exam.

CA is usually considered tougher than CMA if we consider the volume of syllabus and study. Also, the pass rate for CA exam is lower than that for CMA exam.

CMA exam is usually considered difficult to crack in one attempt. However, if a candidate is diligent with his/her preparation and practices mock exams, past papers and sample papers thoroughly before exam, their chances of passing the exam increases.
