Process of Admission - Earlier and Now

Earlier all the interested and eligible students had to visit the college to get the admission form. The college used to a prospectus to the student in which each point is explained in detail. However, a student could download this information about the college on its official website. After that, the student has to get it signed from the Principal, deposit the fees in the Accounts Office, and take receipt of admission. Once the session is commenced, the students also get Identity Card from the library within seven to ten days.

The scenario of admission gets changed. Now, the college is going to give admissions to the students through online mode as in the current scenario no one can go outside. So, the college has decided to give online admissions to the Class 11 and 12 students and others like postgraduate and undergraduate courses. In addition to this, the college will take the fee at the beginning of the working days. The student will not pay the fees online. The interested students could check the eligibility of their course on the official website of the college or any kind of query.

Counselling and Query

The online counselling and the registration process are posted on the Facebook page of the college by the In-charge. The In-charge gives all the contact details of various subject departments and teachers of the departments on the Facebook page itself. All the interested or eligible students may contact the In-charge. So, in case of any issue, one could contact them easily. Also, the interested students could send an e-mail to the college for any kind of query.

The college is sharing all the updates through Facebook and Instagram apps. The students who want to get enrolled could take the information from the official page of the college. This link is also given on the Facebook page. Through this process, one could easily get registered. Students from any board or state are eligible to apply and get registered, however, they need to meet some requirements as specified by the college. My college offers co-education. The online e-class for students of Class 11 and 12 are proposed to start shortly and the college would give tentative dates soon. The admissions are opened for all streams.

Impact on Admissions

Well, I think that there will not be any fall in the number of admissions as the offline process is now converted into the online mode to ensure that the admission process is not impacted.

Convenience

Online admission process is convenient for the counsellor as well as students who want to take admission for higher education in the college because this saves the time as there is no need not to visit the college.
