Q1. What are the salient features of the teaching methodology adopted by your college? How does this differ from others?
At our prestigious Institute we have implemented most practical oriented pedagogy. We firmly believe the connecting the dots between theory and practical. It 70 % practical backed by theory. Students are accustomed to visit the corporate and take insightful understanding from the domain specific experts while connecting their theory The institute also has developed the classroom SOP, to maintain the uniform and high standards in the classroom delivery.
Q2. How are you preparing your students to be Industry-ready?
At GIBS, we are committed to impart value based practical learning inside the class. Hence, a cult of corporate hierarchy has been adopted in each class in order to acclimatize all the student to be future ready for sustaining with corporate culture. Addition to that One full-fledged and dedicated program “CPMP” (Certificate in Personal Mastery Program”) trains students in all the skills required to be industry ready.
Q3. What are the qualities you are looking for in student applicants? What qualities do they need to do well in your course?
GIBS believe the philosophy of education lies with Rabindranath Tagore’s manifestation on Education as “Where the mind is without fear, where the head is high, and knowledge is free”. So, at GIBS a rekindle the joy of learning is embedded with academia-industry interface. Here, knowledge is transformed into Wisdom.
Skilled base learning with each subject is what GIBS is striving to inculcate among management students to garner employability skills.
Q4. How do you ensure that your course curriculum is up to date and meets industry requirements?
At GIBS, a student is widely exposed to the industry by interacting with industry experts who steps into the campus frequently. Moreover, GIBS flagship program called ‘IRE’ is a platform to foster and facilitate the much-needed interaction with their valuable inputs. Moreover, GBS has recently launched “TED-X” that also a most sought-after platform for GIBS student understand the industry better and closer.
Q5. Is your college receptive to innovation, technology, science & entrepreneurship? How? Could you cite some examples of these?
GIBS flagship program “IRE” and “IRE-Talk” are the two most innovative and intrinsic value-oriented program to provide value-based education backed by practical methodology. GIBS, is fulfilling the much-needed industry demand called Employability among student. The supply side of the industry is well care of with this pedagogy and industry connect.
