Top colleges accepting IPMAT Scores 2026: The national-level test, Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is a gateway for admission to the five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) offered by various institutes in the country. IPMAT is conducted by IIM Indore and is accepted by some of the top IIMs and management colleges in India. IPMAT is usually considered the most popular BBA entrance exam in India and is accepted by over nine management colleges apart from IIM Indore.
IPMAT 2026 is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2026. The exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode. The IPMAT provisional shortlisting will likely begin in the first week of June 2026, tentatively. IPM admissions through IPMAT include the IPMAT exam and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates are selected for the PI round based on their IPMAT score. IPMAT 2026 Selection Criteria
Admissions to IIM Indore's Five-Year Integrated Management Programme (IPM) are based on the scores obtained by the students in the IIM Indore IPM exam and Personal Interview. The exam authorities release a list of eligible candidates after the IPMAT Indore exam who can appear for the Personal Interview. The final selection of candidates will be conducted based on the Composite Scores (CS) computed on the basis of the following.

No the IPMAT cutoff for IIM INdore and IIM Rohtak are not the same. Both the IIMs conduct different IPMAT exams. IIM Indore conducts IPMAT Indore and the exam conducted by IIM Rohtak is called the IPMAT Rohtak exam. Thus, both the institues have different cutoff and selection processes. Various factors such as number of applicants, difficulty level, number of seats available for the programme and overall performance of the candidates affect different cutoffs.
IPMAT score is based on correct answers marked in IPMAT exam.
For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded. For an incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.

The other IIMs such as IIM Rohtak, IIM Bodhgaya and IIM Jammu, also offer IPM courses. IIM Rohtak conducts the IPMAT Rohtak exam. While IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya accept JIPMAT scores for admission to the IPM programmes offered by them. IIT Mandi also offers the IPM programme but accepts JEE Main scores for admissions.

Minimum eligibility criteria for IPMAT is a score of at least 60 per cent in both Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent for General and NC-OBC categories. Candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in case of SC, ST and PWD DA categories.

No, meeting the IPMAT cutoff alone does not guarantee the admission to the IPM programme.
