Examinations, selection process and its schedule in Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow

Entrance tests are considered by the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, while taking admissions for the fresh batch. It runs two programs, PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) and FPM (Fellow Programs in Management). The entrance tests that are accepted for the PGDM are CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT.

All these exams are national-level aptitude tests. The applicants must clear the cut-off scores.
CUT-OFFS
To take admission to the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, one must fulfil the eligibility proposed by the college. There are three management courses offered at the Lucknow campus, and the admission criteria for each course is the same. One must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or CGPA in the bachelor’s programme from a well-known college or university. Other than that, the college accepts the below-mentioned entrance exams, which is another mandatory criterion.

Schedule for GD and PI: Once the application is submitted, the candidate is given the option to choose the centre for the interview process. The average duration of the group discussion is 20–30 minutes. The topics for GD are given on the spot. It is advisable for the candidate to be prepared with the latest news and current affairs. The personal interview can last up to 20 minutes. The questions can come from anywhere, including general knowledge, academic knowledge, interests and hobbies, depending upon the flow.
Selection Discussion: After the process is over, the students are informed about the result, whether they were selected or not. The discussion is declared within a week.
Submission of documents: Once the student gets selected, s/he is required to submit the necessary documents, including the relevant academic certificates, ID proofs, transfer certificates, job relieving letters (for those having work experience) and any other documents the institute would require.
