Entrance tests are considered by the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, while taking admissions for the fresh batch. It runs two programs, PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) and FPM (Fellow Programs in Management). The entrance tests that are accepted for the PGDM are CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT.

All these exams are national-level aptitude tests. The applicants must clear the cut-off scores.

CUT-OFFS

To take admission to the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, one must fulfil the eligibility proposed by the college. There are three management courses offered at the Lucknow campus, and the admission criteria for each course is the same. One must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or CGPA in the bachelor’s programme from a well-known college or university. Other than that, the college accepts the below-mentioned entrance exams, which is another mandatory criterion.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Application Form: The application form is available on the college’s website. The candidate can fill in the form with the necessary details and pay the application fees.

Jaipuria Institute of Management conducts interviews for the PGDM programme by invitation only. These interviews focus on evaluating candidates' profiles through case analysis and personal interviews. The aim is to assess interpersonal skills and overall knowledge, with consideration given to past academic achievements and work experience based on established parameters.

Q:   Can I get into Jaipuria Lucknow - Jaipuria Institute of Management with 75% in class 12?
A:

Your 12th standard score sheet won't impact a lot on the probabilities of getting an admission to Jaipuria Lucknow - Jaipuria Institute of Management because the admission is more based on the performance of a student in his bachelor's . Also, the cut off score attained in various sorts of competitive exams in afiiliation to the course are considered. There are many students who had got 75 percent in their class 12th boards but could still get into the college as they had tolied hard to maintain a good CGPA in bachelor's and attain the cut off in competitive examination hence even if you have scored less in 12th standard boards you must not be disheartened and should work hard.

Q:   Does the Jaipuria Lucknow - Jaipuria Institute of Management accept any entrance exam for MBA admission?
A:

Yes, PGDM admissions at Jaipuria Institute of Management are based on accepted entrance exams such as MAT,  XAT,  CAT,  CMAT, and others. Hence, candidates must have good scores in accepted entrance exams. Candidates must solve as many CAT question papers as possible to clear the entrance exam and for securing admission to the PGDM course. 

Schedule for GD and PI: Once the application is submitted, the candidate is given the option to choose the centre for the interview process. The average duration of the group discussion is 20–30 minutes. The topics for GD are given on the spot. It is advisable for the candidate to be prepared with the latest news and current affairs. The personal interview can last up to 20 minutes. The questions can come from anywhere, including general knowledge, academic knowledge, interests and hobbies, depending upon the flow.

Selection Discussion: After the process is over, the students are informed about the result, whether they were selected or not. The discussion is declared within a week.

Submission of documents: Once the student gets selected, s/he is required to submit the necessary documents, including the relevant academic certificates, ID proofs, transfer certificates, job relieving letters (for those having work experience) and any other documents the institute would require.

Along with that, the student must submit the fees as per the instalment structure to reserve his/her seat. A buddy is allocated to each candidate who helps him/her throughout the process. Any query regarding admissions, hostel details, or any other doubt can be discussed with that buddy.
