Hi, I am Nikhil. I like to keep things easy and simple rather than complicating them. I am a free spirit, I like experiencing new things in life and when it comes to my interests and my hobbies I would say I am more inclined towards trading and investing as it is been a part of my routine for years and I see a career in the same stream.

Q1. How did you choose your course of study in school (class XI-XII)? What made you choose an MBA at Acharya Bangalore Business School (ABBS)?

It was evident to me from a young age that I had an interest in finance and commerce. I was exposed to the stock market during my high school years, which helped me understand the economic structure of our society. As I thought more about it, I realized that commerce and finance play a vital role in the economy, and I wanted to pursue this field further. Therefore, I chose commerce as my course of study in class XI-XII. The main reason why I chose ABBS for my postgraduation is because it is a business school that provides a high level of exposure for MBA aspirants. Business schools offer an edge over others in terms of learning and networking opportunities.

Q2. How did you crack admission in Acharya Bangalore Business School? What entrance test(s) did you give? Any coaching classes that you took for preparation? Any other colleges that you were trying out for? What challenges did you face while opting for ABBS?

I wrote the PGCET exam and secured a good ranking, which was accepted by the college. My rank was 3024, and the college was accepting candidates within the top 4000 rankings. So, if you want to get enrolled in this college, I recommend writing the PGCET exam and aiming for a good ranking below 3000. I didn't take any preparations for the exams as the questions were mostly related to general knowledge and aptitude, so I didn't face any major challenges. If you're a student from Karnataka who has studied here for more than 7 years, I suggest you write the PGCET exam to secure a government seat and reduce your fees.

Q3. How do you spend your time at college? Which classes do you like to attend? Which extra-curricular activities are you a part of in college? If given a chance, what else would you want to do? How has your college experience changed you as a person? What opportunities do you see in the future?

I typically spend my time in class discussing current events and other opportunities that could be potential winners for one individual. The classes are primarily interactive sessions rather than one-sided teaching, so I am more participatory. I engage in participating in management events within the college and outside of it as well. I can say that ABBS provides a lot of opportunities for self-engagement and growth, and it all depends on how much one utilizes these opportunities. Since I enrolled in this college, I have participated in over 10 events and gained valuable experience and exposure. In terms of cultural events, the college has got me covered throughout. I have been given a fair chance to participate in cultural events, and I have made the most of it

Q4. What do you plan in future?

To secure a position in equity research or hedge fund management firm and once I have accumulated a good amount of capital I have a plan to start my own business relating to stock market and get out of the rat race
