Hi, I'm Hemanth, currently pursuing a BA degree in psychology from ABBS. Despite my science background with PCMB combination in PU, my interest in psychology led me to join this course. My hobbies include traveling, reading books, and thoroughly enjoying movies. Additionally, I have a keen interest in business and the stock market.
Q1. How did you choose your course of study in school (class XI-XII)? What made you choose an BA at Acharya Bangalore Business School (ABBS)?
Since my time as a school student, I had a keen interest in human anatomy, and I consistently performed well in my academics. Therefore, I opted for PCMB in my pre-university studies, a choice that brought me much happiness. However, as I completed my pre-university education, I gradually became introduced to the subject of psychology, which captured my interest. This led me to decide to pursue a career as a psychologist, as it offers insights into understanding myself better. I learned about ABBS through Google, and upon visiting the campus, I was greatly impressed by its ambiance, structure, and overall environment. These factors played a significant role in my decision to choose ABBS for my academic journey.
Q2. How did you crack admission in Acharya Bangalore Business School? What all entrance test(s) did you give? Any coaching classes that you took for preparation? Any other colleges that you were trying out for? What challenges did you face while opting for ABBS?
I didn't attend any entrance exams. However, since I am from a city called Sira near Tumkur district, which is 120 km away from Bangalore, traveling posed the only challenge I encountered during my admission
Q3. How do you spend your time at college? Which classes do you like to attend? Which extra-curricular activities are you a part of in college? If given a chance, what else would you want to do? How has your college experience changed you as a person? What opportunities do you see in the future?
Usually, throughout the week, we have classes until 1:45. They start at 9. I try to attend every class possible as it is my last year in this college. Specifically, I love psychology, so I enjoy attending those classes. I also participate in many extracurricular activities in college. The college frequently organizes activities such as essay writing, drawing competitions, and programs like Regalia and cultural events, in which I actively take part. I had the opportunity to serve as the coordinator in Regalia, which was a beautiful experience at ABBS
