Christ University conducts its own entrance exam CUET for admission into its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered.

Christ University, founded in 1969, is a deemed university, with its main campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Christ (Deemed-to-be University) is one of the top and sought-after private universities in India, offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Engineering etc. It is a UGC-recognised and NAAC-accredited college. The university has over 800 faculty members and intakes over 25,000 students every year. Christ campuses have research facilities, libraries and information centres. IT services are available on the campus to provide WiFi to the students around the campus, research labs for each department on each campus of Christ, one main auditorium with a large seating capacity and state-of-the-art facilities, mini auditoriums, amphitheatres, open-air theatres and galleries, six-academic peer-reviewed journals, and CHRISTITE magazines. Each campus has hostel facilities separately for male and female students.

Admission Process at Christ University

The admission process at Christ University consists of an entrance test, Micro-Presentation and Performance Interview. It conducts its own entrance exam, Christ University Entrance Test (CUET), for admission into its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered. The entrance exam provides admissions in its six campuses – Bangalore Central Campus, Bangalore Bannerghatta Road Campus, Bangalore Kengeri Campus, Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus, Delhi NCR Campus, and Pune Lavasa Campus. 

Christ University Entrance Test

The CUET assesses the candidates on the following six parameters – English Language, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Analysis, Critical Reasoning and Fundamental Accounting and Fundamental Mathematics. The exam is computer-based. The duration of the entrance exam is of 2 hours. It consists of 120 questions and carries maximum marks of 120. The correct answers are awarded 1 mark while a wrong answer carries a negative marking of -0.25 mark. The registration for the entrance exam starts in the month of December and ends in March. The registration can be completed online through the official website of the university and offline by sending the documents to the university via post. The admit card is released five days before the exam date. The registration fee required is INR 1,500. 

Q:   From where can I download CUET sample papers?
A:

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) sample papers are released by the conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA). To download the CUET question papers follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the link provided- CUET Question Paper
  2. Scroll down the page and look for the subject to download the question paper for
  3. Click on the tab download
  4. Create the login credentials for new registrations
  5. Link to download the CUET question paper will be sent on the registered email ID
  6. Click on the link provided and save the PDF.
Q:   How many questions are there in the language section of CUET UG?
A:

CUET UG Language section will include 50 questions. Candidates must attempt all questions. There will be no optional questions.

The language section will check candidate's reading comprehension based on different types of passages. This section will also include questions from grammar. To prepare for the CUET UG language section, candidates must solve previous year question papers and mock tests to become familiar with the type of questions asked in the exam. 

Q:   What type of questions are asked in the CUET exam?
A:

The CUET questions are objective in nature and carries four options also known as MCQs. Candidates will have to choose the correct answer option and click on it with the help of mouse. Since CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in a CBT mode, test-takers will be able to mark only one answer option. In case it is the correct option, students will get +5 marks and in case of wrong answer, negative marking scheme will be applied. Hence, candidates must ensure the accuracy of the answer before selecting the answer. 

The students are required to complete the process of a micro-presentation and personal interview after the CUET. It is held on the same day as the entrance exam or on a different day. The micro-presentation and personal interview are conducted at one of the Christ campuses across India. The candidates are required to speak on a given topic for 90 seconds. The university evaluates the candidate’s behaviour, team-building qualities, management skills, overall behaviour and leadership skills through micro-presentation. The topic for the presentation is given by the panel on the spot. Some of the topics which can be covered under the micro-presentation include – ‘A leader is born not made,' ‘Is unemployment a serious issue in India?’, ‘We observe Traffic rules by breaking them’, ‘Single Use Plastic Ban’, ‘Make in India’, ‘Importance of Regional Languages’, ‘Safety of Women in India’, ‘India’s #METoo Movement’, ‘Will Automation take away HR jobs’, ‘Impact of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ etc. Candidates are furthermore required to answer the questions asked by the panelists related to the topic. The personal interview includes questions like ‘Tell me about yourself,' ‘Why you chose Christ University’, ‘What are your Strengths and weaknesses’ ‘What are your hobbies’ etc. There is one round of interview conducted by the professors of the applied course. The whole process takes around 30-45 minutes to complete. 

The candidates are evaluated on the basis of their CUET exam score, Micro-presentation, Personal Interview and their Academic performance for admissions. The selected candidates are informed through email along with all the relevant details.

Q:   How are the placements at Christ University?
A:

As per the latest placement report 2022, the highest package offered was INR 21.46 LPA for MBA students. A total of 1,698 and 1,304 UG and PG students were placed and 79% students were placed during Christ University Bangalore placement drive 2022. In addition, out of 516 recruiters who visited the campus during the placement drive in 2022, 65 were new recruiters.

There is no provision of changing the interview centre for the Christ University Entrance Test. However, students can contact Christ University and make a request for modification. But, it is upto their descreation if accept the request or not.

Admissions to most of courses are offered through Christ University Entrance Test CUET at university. There are some courses that can be pursued without CUET. However, these are limited, and CUET remains compulsory for most.

To take admission to Christ University for UG programmes, students have to appear for the inhouse UG entrance exam, Christ University Entrance Test CUET. Students have to meet the eligibility criteria to take the entrance test and then appear for it. The exam will be conducted in an online mode.
