IP University Admissions 2020: Spot Round Counselling online registration deadline extended; check details here
Candidates can complete the process on or before December 16, after which no applications will be entertained by the varsity. The registration for IPU spot round counselling began on December 13.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Univesity (GGSIPU) has extended the last date of the IPU spot round registration window for counselling until December 16. The candidates eligible for IPU spot round counselling at the varsity are advised to register online. In order to register and submit the form online, candidates need to visit the official website of the IPU; i.e. ipu.admissions.nic.in. Candidates can complete the process on or before December 16, after which no applications will be entertained by the varsity. The registration for IPU spot round counselling began on December 13. Candidates interested in IPU Admissions 2020 must note that the counselling round will be held for admission into programmes based on entrance tests including BTech, LLB, BA (JMC), BBA, BCA and BEd.
IPU in a statement said that, “As a final opportunity to admission seekers of various academic programmes, the university has extended the last date of online registration for spot round of counseling leading to admissions to programmes based on Common Entrance Tests as well as National level tests like B Tech, LLB, BA(JMC), BBA, BCA, BEd, etc,"
It further added: “The special attribute of this counseling is that one may participate the spot round of counseling with any seat or without seat; there is no reservation, no distinction between Delhi and outside Delhi candidates. It means it has a lot of opportunities for all the candidates.”
IP University Admission 2020 Spot Round Counselling: Application Process
- Go to the official website of the varsity; ipu.admissions.nic.in
- Register using contact details
- Pay the application fee; i.e Rs 1,000 as the counselling fee
- Enter details as required and complete the registration process by uploading necessary documents including Class 10 and 12 marksheet, identity proof and migration certificate
- Fill up the choice of colleges for seat allotment. The choices can be modified after the first round of counselling
- Submit
The seat allotment into colleges is done on the basis of merit, category and choices filled by the candidates. After each round of the counselling, a merit list will be published on the website. The selected candidates will have to take the print out of the allotment letter and freeze their seat.
