Khushi Gupta's Journey from Aspiring BCom Hons Student to Tax Consultant at Deloitte

I'm Khushi Gupta, a highly ambitious and versatile Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom Hons) student currently pursuing a PGDM with a major in Finance. As a newcomer with a strong interest in finance, I find taxation to be a fascinating field. This passion led me to pursue a career as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte with a package of INR 7.8 LPA.

My Journey:

As I stand on the threshold of a new chapter in my career, I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards JIMS and all my faculty members who have played a vital role in my success. Deloitte has always been my dream company, and I knew that achieving this goal would require unwavering dedication and hard work. From the moment I set foot on the JIMS campus, I was immersed in an environment that nurtured excellence and fostered ambition. The faculty members at JIMS Kalkaji are not only educators but also mentors, guides, and cheerleaders. They encouraged me to push my limits, think critically, and never give up on my dreams. Their unwavering support and positive motivation were a constant source of strength throughout my journey.

I began preparing for Deloitte months ago, dedicating every available moment to honing my skills and expanding my knowledge. The countless hours spent studying textbooks, attending workshops, and participating in mock interviews were not in vain. Each passing day made me feel more confident and prepared for the challenges ahead. But my success is not solely the result of my own efforts. It is also a testament to the power of gratitude. I have always believed in the importance of expressing appreciation for the blessings in my life and have consciously cultivated an attitude of gratitude.

I am grateful for the opportunity to study at JIMS Kalkaji, an institution that has instilled in me the values of hard work, perseverance, and integrity. I am grateful for the guidance and support of my professors, who have helped me reach my full potential. And I am grateful for the countless opportunities I have been given to grow and learn. As I embark on my career at Deloitte, I carry with me the lessons I have learned at JIMS Kalkaji. I know that the road ahead will be filled with challenges, but I am also equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to overcome them.
