Journey of dream to reality:

My college journey began even before it started. I used to dream of getting into the University of Delhi and making the most out of my college journey. I used to watch videos, read articles about life at DU, and manifest this life. The MANIFESTATION WORKED and the dream of getting into DU got a kick start.

Online college experience:

We were admitted to Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University during the lockdown period. So, I had to spend almost the entire first semester and a bit of the second semester online.  We had to attend everything including online classes, OB exams, meetings, and events in front of the computer screen. That too was a unique experience and I cherish it. Around the end of the second semester, the offline college began and then came the real college experience.

Q:   Is Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi a known college/Institute?
Q:   Can Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi be considered a good college?

Offline college experience:

I actively started taking part everywhere, be it societies, clubs, departmental organizations, extracurricular activities, etc. I was made the joint secretary of my departmental union at the start of college life itself, where I learned to lead a team, make them work, and bring out the best in every teammate. This helped me to learn to handle the power when it's in my hands and make the best use of it.

I was also crowned as Miss Freshers runner-up in the Miss Freshers competition, and that was one of the most celebrated days of my college life. I also became part of the NCC Coy of my college. There I learned the essentials of NCC such as discipline, team spirit, companionship, leadership, etc. Most importantly I learned to be a disciple and follow the leader as it was against my nature. But I learned it and contributed the best to my coy.

We used to have Annual Training Camps once a year, and I also took part in a national cultural camp namely, EBSB II. I was also part of the NSS of my college. Although I wasn't awarded a certificate, I don't regret even one second, I spent there, because I did a lot of social services, and brought smiles to so many faces. I also saw the hardships and realities of society so closely and realized how much we all need to do actually to uplift those who are deprived of basic amenities.

Additionally, I was also part of the Gandhi Study Circle of my college. I took part in many debates, discussions, and seminars there. I signed off as the technical head in the third year. Also, I was chaired as the chairperson of the Pink Legal Club of my college, the Woman Empowerment and the Upliftment Club, in my second year.

Academically I did pretty well. I passed out the Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University with the first division and gained plenty of knowledge and understanding. I was also blessed with the Miss Farewell award of my batch at DU, which again was a memorable moment in my college.

Quoting three years of my life in a few words would be very difficult for me. If I had to sum up everything I would say my college years were a roller coaster experience, filled with thrill, knowledge, and innumerable new experiences. I made the best out of those three years and made sure to come out as a better person. Not only did I achieve so much in academics, and co-curricular activities, but I also was lucky to find good people in the form of juniors, seniors, friends, batchmates, faculty, professors, supporting staff, etc. Everyone and everything was worth the time and effort, and I will be forever grateful for such a happening college journey.
