My Vignan's Institute of Information Technology Journey: A Story of Growth and Discovery
On my first day at the campus, I was low on confidence due to being a new student. I am an introverted person, which restrains me from socialising. However, as time passed, I made many friends. I joined Vignan's Institute of Information Technology in 2021 after completing my schooling in 2019.
After passing out from school, I had no coaching support and started to do self-study for the AP EAPCET exam. I worked hard and secured a good enough rank in the exam. Soon after the counselling sessions, I got a seat at Vignan's Institute of Information Technology for BTech in Electronics and Computer Engineering. This marked the start of my journey at this college.
On my first day, I was assigned as a volunteer and made to do some tasks, which was a new learning experience for me. During my time at this college, I have learnt many things that are really beneficial for my career in the field of Engineering. I have learnt programming languages and Web Development Technologies such as HTML & CSS along with JavaScript.

However, individual experiences may vary depending on factors like batch, course, and personal interests.
Working on Projects
I am also leading a team to develop a portfolio website for a group project. Additionally, I have worked on innovative projects including a Chatting Application using Java Swing, a to-do list, and a simple calculator. This allowed me to apply my coding skills in real-world scenarios.
My recent project, the 'Smart Crop Irrigation and Protection System,' was particularly rewarding. This system integrates automation with soil moisture sensors, animal intrusion detection, and fire protection to enhance agricultural safety and efficiency. Working on this project deepened my understanding of Sensor Technology, Arduino Programming, and System Integration. The 'Smart Crop Irrigation and Protection System' was a comprehensive project that addressed real-world challenges faced by farmers. The system utilised soil moisture sensors to automate irrigation, ensuring that crops received the right amount of water. Additionally, IR sensors detected animal intrusions, triggering an alert system to notify farmers.
The fire protection module integrated temperature and flame sensors to identify potential fire risks, activating a sprinkler system to prevent damage. This project not only enhanced my technical expertise but also reinforced my passion for developing innovative solutions that address practical problems.
