Students develop real value of skills - Symbiosis Skills University, Pune
Under the valuable guidance of Dr. Swati Mujumdar, Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis Skills and Open University (SSOU), students of automobile engineering at Symbiosis Skills & Open University, Pune have setup ‘Free two-wheeler bike repair’ camp at villages affected by heavy rains and flood near Sangli.
The students of Symbiosis Skills University have set up a two-wheeler repair camp in Sangli to help those whose bikes were underwater during the recent floods.
Dr. Swati Mujumdar, Pro-chancellor of SSOU informed, “Apart from distribution of food and clothing, these students are showing the real value of skills. Villagers whose two-wheelers were underwater for many days are happy with the free repair and service facilities provided by students.”
As many as 20 technically skilled students of the joint program between the university and SKF have taken up the repair work of two-wheelers at Chandur, Ganeshwadi, Bhilawadi, Gaonbaug, Padmale and Maisal, among others.
