IUST Awantipora accepts CUET UG exam scores to shortlist applicants for admission to various BSc courses (except BSc in Nursing). • Common Entrance Test through SKUAST-Jammu
• ICAR quota through All India Counselling by ICAR after CUET
• On the nomination of in-service candidates through state government (only free seats)
• VCI quota through NEET and based on the list provided by the VCI through their counselling portal

For Self-Financing seats under NRIs/ NRI Sponsored/ All India Basis/ Wards of Serving Employees Categories, admissions are through the University itself based on merit in SKUAST-J CET and marks obtained in Class 12 or equivalent examination.
