Engineering Colleges accepting IPU CET for B.Tech in India

IPU CET is a National Level Exam. IPU CET or Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test, is competitive examination conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) in Delhi, India. It is held annually for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by university and affiliated colleges.

If the candidates are applying for BTech courses other than BTech in Biotechnology, then the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU admission. For BTech in Biotechnology admission, candidates need to appear in either the IPU CET or CUET-UG.

Lateral entry BTech admissions at GGSIPU are done on the basis of merit in IPU CET.

The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at KIET Group of Institutions and Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology are 1530 and 1200, respectively. While KIET Group of Institutions offers this course in 10 specialisations, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology offers the same in 13 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at KIET Group of Institutions due to higher seats.

The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at Dronacharya College of Engineering and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology are 660 and 600, respectively. While Dronacharya College of Engineering offers this course in 9 specialisations, Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology offers the same in 7 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at Dronacharya College of Engineering due to higher seats.

For the admission eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech at Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering is complete class 12 with Physics chemistry and maths with the minimum marks 50% and 45% for reserved College also take entrance exam Common Entrance Exam (CET).The college also excepted JEE MAINS for the admission.
