Yes, Netaji Subhas University provides lateral entry for BTech courses. Students can apply for BTech with a Diploma of three years in engineering. The Diploma holders will get direct entry in the second year of BTech course. The duration of this course is three years. 

Sarala Birla University has not yet revealed the BTech admission deadline for 2026. Candidates can assume that the deadline will be scheduled between May and July. The reason for this is because BTech curriculum of Sarala Birla Ranchi begins in the month of August. The results of its accepted entrance exams are usually revealed in May.

Admissions to UMU BTech courses are made based on scores obtained in the entrance test. However, the allocation of seats is subject to rules of reservation. According to the UMU seat reservation policy, a total of 50% of seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Out of this 36%, 26 percent seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes. 10% of seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribe candidates. For engineering graduates YBN univeristy has SCHOOL OF ENIGINNERING  It is one of the largest schools in the YBN University and offers three years diploma, four years B.Tech and two years M.Tech.
programs in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE and Computer Science Engineering. The three years diploma, four years B.Tech Degree course with an annual intake of 30 students in each streams and two years M.Tech programme in all branches. The annual intake in the postgraduate programme is 18 in each stream.
