B.Tech. in Aeronautical Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.6
Aeronautical Engineering at PCE!
Placements: There are 65 students in our batch. Unfortunately, there are no placements for our course in our college, and internships are not provided either. However, many companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc., recruit students. They offer roles in aviation and aerospace structures in this course.
Infrastructure: All the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are available in this college. Also, there is one building for every department. There are hostels for both boys and girls, but I chose a private hostel in the area. The quality of the food is okay, and the cost is 80,000 per year.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, but they are more focused on completing their syllabus. For the first year, everyone has the same subjects. By the second year, subjects according to the course are included. There are two midterm exams conducted, and then there is the final semester.
Other: I picked this college to pursue Aeronautical Engineering. The campus is huge, but they haven't kept it well-maintained. There's even a swimming pool in the college. The annual fest, called Ashvamedh, is a mix of cultural and sports events, and many technical events also happen there.

The Infrastructure of the college is good.
Placements: The aeronautical engineering placement ratio is so low compared to other batches. Most students placed in lockdowns are in IT companies. The highest package is 6 Lacs and the average is 3-3.5 Lacs. You can pursue workshops and Internships in college startups. But after the degree, you have to find the Internship on your own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. The department's buildings are well maintained. The Library and classrooms are also good. Wi-Fi is provided on the whole campus for the students. The hostel facility is not that good. The canteen of the hostel is not that so clean.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching technic of some professors is also good. The difficulty level of the semester exam at Nagpur University is high. The minimum passing percentage for the theory exam is 40% and For the practical exam, it is 50%.

Our college has good infrastructure and management.
Placements: Around 30% of students get placed. The highest salary package is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package is 4.5 LPA. There are not many students who get internships but there is a chance of getting internships from DRAL mihan.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and all the facilities like computer labs, library, Wi-Fi, classrooms, water filters, ground, sports equipment, good food in canteen, games, parking area, garden area, indoor games, and playroom are well provided.
Faculty: Teachers were good, helpful, supportive, and friendly. The course curriculum is good. Exams are average not that difficult but you need to prepare well for exams.
Other: College should try to bring more companies for placements.

I am satisfied with faculty members but not with placements of the college.
Placements: More than 50% of students were placed before 2019 and in 2022, it is around 30-40%. The campus placement is resumed in 2022 for all branches. Companies like Tata and Reliance come for campus placements. But in 2020, the placement percentage is very low in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college building is also renovated. But the hostel facility is not very good. The building of the department of information technology is good compared to other departments. The building of the aeronautical department is very good.
Faculty: Faculty members in the first year are excellent in our college. In the aeronautical branch, some subjects are taught by other departments' faculty members. In the aeronautical engineering department, you get faculty of mechanical and electrical departments. In the first year, the faculty members are good.
Other: Compared to the other colleges in Maharashtra, Priyadarshini College of Engineering is very good for aeronautical engineering.

Our college has an attractive infrastructure and excellent teaching faculty members.
Placements: In the aeronautical stream, the placement rate is 40%. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting company here is Drono Tech. About 30% of the students got internships from here. For internships, you have to apply it on your own from outside. However, from the college, you can get to visit NAL, HAL, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, and it provides all the necessary facilities. The canteen is well maintained and clean, and the food served is also hygienic. Our college also facilitates sports and games. Wi-Fi is available to students to access. Our college lacks some labs, but there are labs for experiments. The library is huge enough, but good books for aeronautical engineers are not available. The hostel is good, and it has a Wi-Fi facility. There are also some restrictions that the hostel gets closed by 9 pm, and you have to enter on the register for your every visit. In the mess, at starting month, you can have good food, but after that, you realise that the quality of the food is decreasing. It is the same case in every hostel.
Faculty: The faculty members here are well experienced, and there are a lot of PhD holders. They have a vase experience in this field, and we had one of the best staff members. Our course is good, but it is better not to attend classes as many students did the same thing. Mostly we have just one day visit to the industry, so it doesn't make anything. Near the college, an aerospace company is getting ready, so there are higher chances that the company will visit here. Top courses offered in our course are aerodynamic, flight mechanics, propulsion and structure.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in aviation. So, there are more interesting things like how an airplane fly, etc. Another thing involved in aerospace engineering is that it is a vast area of study which incorporates the fields like fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, solid mechanics, composite materials and many more. An aerospace engineer should have excellent mathematical skills to deal with the above-mentioned subjects. I think it is better to teach this course more through practicals. If we do it practically, things get more interesting and understandable in a good manner. The course curriculum is quite enjoyable, but if students pay proper attention, they have a lot of options to explore as there are diversified labs across the college. Moreover, the library is very vast, so students will get a lot of study materials. Alumni meet is also arranged every year and is well managed, and staff members are very friendly.

I am dissatisfied with placement scenario and faculty members, but the infrastructure is very good.
Placements: My pass-out year from this college is 2019. None of the students got placed in core companies as no core companies visited during our period. For internships, you have to apply it on your own from outside, but from the college side, you can get to visit NAL, HAL, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are excellent. Wi-Fi is available to the students to access. Our college lack in some labs, but there are labs for experiments. The library is huge enough, but good books for aeronautical engineers are not available. The hostel is good, and they have Wi-Fi facility. They also have some restriction that the hostel gets closed by 9 PM, and you have to enter in registered for your every visit. In the mess, at starting month, you can have good food, but after that, you realise that the qualify of food is getting down. So it is happening in every case of hostel overseas.
Faculty: Our college infrastructure is good, but it is better to stay in the outside as many students did the same thing. Mostly we have just one day visit, so it doesn't make anything. Near the college, an aerospace company is getting ready, so there are higher chances that the company will visit here.
Other: I wish the college to improve books in the library because needed books are not available in the library. Storing better books make students concepts better and expandable.

Teaching is good. In 2018 our campus got 80% placement.
Placements: In aeronautical stream placement percent is 40% . the highest package is 4lakh. the lowest package is 2.5 lakh . Top recruiting company is dronotech. Percent of student got internship is 30%. Top roles offered in our course is aerodynamic, flight mechanics, propulsion, structure.
Infrastructure: Facility and infrastructure is excellent, classroom is well and good. Canteen food is good. Sports and games are nice. Medical facility is also available. Hostel facility is good but hostel mess/food is not good. College canteen food is good but mess facility in hostel is not good.
Faculty: Faculty are are good and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is nice. In our stream we are going went to Bangalore for internship in company like HAL. TAL. etc. Teachers are helpful but not every time.
Other: College event is good. Fest is also organised. Crowd in the campus is very huge. In our campus there is a lawn and very big play ground. We are getting scholarship every year. Every month there are 3-4 activities.

It is good to study aeronautical engineering course.
Placements: The placements of the college are low, but still, the scope for the aviation sector is less in India. So, one must have own talent to compete, and you can't just say that they didn't help me to get placed. Only 20% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is about Rs. 14,000-35,000 per month. The companies that visit our college are Tata Aeronautical Limited, Hitech Solution, and TCS, etc. The roles offered are route mapping, product designer, and UAV pilot.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. The classrooms are big and equipped with projectors. The quality of labs is good, but they need to be upgraded and maintained. The quality of the food available is good, and one must eat dosa and drink tea which are of excellent taste. There are three hostels which are in good condition, and the rules of the warden are strictly followed. We have an issue with the parking slot, and they should provide some area to park our vehicles near the department.
Faculty: The teachers of the aeronautical department are supportive. They can be your mentor. A training and placement department is working, but still, they need to work hard. The teacher and student play many games together. They actively participate in the events organised. Overall, the student to faculty ratio is good. Tests and exams are properly planned.
Other: There are many events organised, where one can participate in the college. Workshop and meditation classes are going well while one can enjoy the sports from swimming to table tennis.

Hello Vrushu, The trend perhaps is not to reveal anything about the cut-offs! College website has no details. But it is gathered that for Aeronautical engineering branch, cut off was around 60K. But then there are different categories of admission and cut off is different for each.
