After completing high school I was sure about pursuing Commerce, so I did BBA from Christ College and I am now pursuing my MBA from GLS, Ahmedabad.

How I cracked college admission

GLS is one of the most reputed colleges of Ahmedabad and it takes a lot of hard work to get admission there. When I was in my last year of BBA I started shortlisting colleges I could apply to for MBA. GLS was one of the top two colleges on my list.

One fine day I checked the admission procedure of GLS and I came to know that CMAT exam essential for it. So I started preparing for the same by myself. It was not easy to get into GLS College, but I wanted to get into GLS anyhow so I studied hard for CMAT. Luckily, I scored well. After completing BBA I applied for admission through ACPC which is a standard procedure to be followed. When I came to know that I was selected in GLS College, I was very happy.

What I like about GLS is that lectures are delivered in an excellent manner. The use of technology with apt explanation is the perfect combination of science with art.

What I gained from my college years

Christ College… hmm. There are many stories I could relate my life with at Christ College. Firstly when I came to this wonderful campus, I thought it would be difficult to cope in this difficult atmosphere. But when I attended the lectures, the way the faculty taught us, the clarity of topics which they taught, all of it made me feel comfortable and confident. The way they delivered lectures made them very interesting.

Christ College taught me many things. The most important thing Christ College taught me was that practical knowledge is as important as the knowledge in books. How to balance study with extracurricular activities is something I learnt very well in college. The variety of activities which takes place on the campus also make academics fun. Christ College has various facilities like numerous useful books, a beautiful campus, a canteen serving tasty food, sports ground and latest sports equipment, etc.

One of the most important things that my college gave me and I'll value forever is my Friends. It is said that friends are considered lifelines of one's life. I feel very happy saying that they are a part of my life. Every time I was in trouble or was feeling low, they were by my side no matter what. It is something I'll cherish all my life.

I would like to conclude saying that I feel Christ College helped me learn may things which will definitely help me in future.
