Sabarmati University also offers PhD programmes in four specialisations, namely Pure and Applied Sciences, Social Science and Humanities, Commerce and Management and Engineering and Technology. Admission to the programmes is based on a Master's degree and qualifying for national-level/ university's own PhD entrance exam. Candidates having completed and/or qualified for MPhil/ NET/ SLET are exempted from Research Entrance Aptitude Test (REAT).

Sabarmati University Admission 2021: PhD
At the doctoral level, Sabarmati University offers PhD programmes for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework and a maximum of six years from the date of admission. Women candidates and PwD candidates with more than 40% disability are allowed a two-year relaxation for the maximum duration of the PhD programme. Sabarmati University Diploma Application Process 2021
Candidates can apply online/ offline at Sabarmati University through the official website/ or by downloading the application form from the official website. The step-wise procedure is mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Sabarmati University (www.sabarmatiuniversity.edu.in).
Step 2: Click on 'Admission Open 2021-22 Apply Now' text for online application/ 'Downloads' tab under Student Zone until Admission Form PDF appears.
Step 3: Fill in all the personal details, contact details, educational qualifications and other required information.
Step 4: Send the completely filled-in application form with all the documents at the address given below/ through cheque/ DD/ make an online payment:

Note: The fee must be paid through a cheque/ demand draft for the requisite application fee in favour of Sabarmati University payable at Ahmedabad with cheque/ DD number, date, name of bank and branch and university receipt number mentioned clearly on it. The fee once paid is non-refundable.
