Review of Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management.

Placements: The placement record of our college is fairly good with 82 percent students placed in companies like L&T, Wipro, Motherson, Anand Group, Tata Motors, Infotech, Videocon, Byju's and several others. The highest salary package is between 3 LPA and 5 LPA while the lowest is approximately 1.5 LPA. Some students also secured internships in different government agencies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with good facilities for sports and academics. LAN ports are available for connection to the public Ethernet, which is unlimited. Various events are well-organized on our campus, and different clubs provide different opportunities.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with great experience. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are neither easy nor too difficult. The pass percentage is 50% of the class's average marks.

A short summary about my college, AIEM.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of students get placement. Companies like Wipro, Tata, L&T, Webel, JSW, TCS and many more companies are available for students to sit for placement. At least 75 percent of marks is needed to be eligible for campusing. An average package of about 7 lakhs is offered and can be extended to 22 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: Our college has its own hostel inside the college premises, which is located on the right side of the college. Right now it is accompanied by almost 40 percent of students who are studying in our college. Our college has a separate place for the labs, which include civil labs , mechanical labs, and electrical labs. Our library is filled with books. You name it, they got it.

Faculty: According to me, we got one of the best teachers, which someone can probably dream of. They are friendly, humble, and very helpful in all scenarios. They help us in every small problem we face; only it is needed to be shared with them . Every 6 months, semester exams happen and between these 6 months, CA exams take place.

Other: I am pursuing a bachelor's in technology in civil engineering. From childhood, I have decided that when I grow up, I will become an engineer. Civil gives an opportunity to do some miracles, which would stun people. Our college celebrates a lot of events, like different pujas and social holidays. We also get a chance to compete against each other in annual sports.

Placements: Our college provides excellent placement opportunities. Our college has an excellent training and placement cell. The salary package offered is good.

Teachers are not helpful, but they are qualified and knowledgeable.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Around 82% of the students got placements in different firms like L&T, Wipro, Motherson, Anand Group, Tata Motors related companies, Infotech, Videocon, Byju's, etc. The highest salary package offered is around 3 LPA to 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Some students got internships in different government companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of AIEM is adequate. The classrooms are very clean and great to sit in. Labs have a lot of modern, smart and necessary equipment. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and we can't access all national level journals in our library.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are quite good. They are smart and kind. They are dedicated and teach us in a way we like. All faculty members are well qualified and high degree holders. Classes are regularly held on digital platforms in this Covid-19 situation. The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers clear our doubts separately.

Other: All faculty members are friendly here. They do and give us their best. If students are passionate about their studies, then the environment of this college will help them.

It is the best college because of its good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Different types of companies come to hire students. The management is very caring about the student's career. Teachers and management try their best in providing good placements to students. The quality of placements is pretty good. Almost 75-85% of the students got placed, and companies with the highest salary package also visit the campus to recruit.

Infrastructure: The college has everything on the campus, and it is one of the best colleges. The campus is Wi-Fi-enabled, so there is no problem with that. The food in the canteen is good. It has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Facilities in our classrooms, laboratories, library, sports centre and hostel are pretty good and well-maintained.

Faculty: I am studying civil engineering here, which has given me the star college status. The quality of teaching is amazing, and every student is given full attention. The curriculum is updated on a regular basis, and it makes students job-ready. Many webinars and online sessions are also conducted here to increase the student's understanding and enhance their knowledge. Faculty members are good here.

Other: The course fee is around 1.7 lac which is average compared to other colleges. Taking admission here is worth it because the college outcome is good.

It is the best college in Hooghly, WB.

Placements: Placements in AIEM are very good. 81% of students got placed in different companies like L&T, Pinnacle Infotech Solution, IBG, BYJU's etc. The highest, lowest and average packages offered are 13 LPA, 4 LPA and 7 LPA, respectively. Some students also got internships from my course in different government companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of AIEM are enough for me. The classrooms are very spacious. Every lab has enough instruments to conduct experiments. Students get semester books and journals from the library. 4-time good quality food and also medical facilities are available. There is a big playground to play football and cricket.

Faculty: Our teachers are our friends, philosophers and guides. They always help us. Most of them are doctorate or Masters in their domain. Class notes and PPTs are provided regularly. Our syllabus is designed by MAKAUT, which we are bound to follow. It is enough for a student to become industry-ready.

Other: Events like cultural fest, techfest, Agomoni, Sarwasati Pooja, and Biswakarma Pooja are celebrated on our campus. There are also some cultural clubs, and they are very active and organize many programs.

AIEM is a knowledge hub with good placement records in Hooghly, WB.

Placements: In our college, almost 70-75% of students got placed in various reputed companies through campus placements. Companies from different sectors are IT, telecom, networks, marketing and core, came here to offer jobs. The highest package offered was 7 LPA, and the average package offered was around 3 LPA. The major companies are MindTree, Capgemini, Amazon, TCS Ninja, Wipro, Inspira, Maruti Suzuki, BYJU's etc. Almost all the students completed the industrial training from our department in different companies like Indian Railways, PWD, NSCBTTC-BSNL, DPL etc. The roles offered are associate engineer, assistant manager, etc., by various reputed companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is adequately nice in my view. The classrooms are well decorated, and the labs have all the necessary instruments for performing the experiments. Our college has a huge library with a huge stock of all departmental books, skill development books, aptitude and reasoning books, and journals. The whole campus is enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi, including the hostel. Hostel rooms are cleaned regularly, and attached bathrooms are available. Electricity and water facilities are available 24x7. The hostel mess and college canteen provide good quality and healthy food to us. In any emergency, medical facilities are available in hostel and college. Around the college premises, there are many playgrounds for football, cricket, volleyball and badminton ground for girls. Hostel students can also access this ground after the classes.

Faculty: The key strength of our college is the faculty members. Most of them are well qualified, like doctorate and Masters in various subjects. They always help us in any situations. They provided us with class notes, PPT, and PDF regularly. In a semester, we have 4 internal assessments in the form of assignments, class tests or quiz. They also encourage us to participate in the poster presentation, cultural events, tech fest, journal paper publishing, wall magazine publishing etc. Our syllabus is designed by our university MAKAUT, which we are bound to follow. As per my knowledge, the syllabus is designed on the basis of AICTE model curriculum, and it is enough for a student to become industry-ready. We need to perform a mandatory additional requirement (MAR) to get marks. Every student of our college needs to complete a minimum of 15-day internship from various companies.

Other: I am always interested in the construction field, so I took admission in civil engineering in AIEM. Events like cultural fest, Agononi, Saraswati Pooja, and Biswakarma Pooja are celebrated in our college. According to the eligibility, we can get a scholarship. Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship, Aykiasree, MOMA, NSP and different management scholarships are available.

It is the best college in Hooghly, and the placements are very good and beyond my expectation.

Placements: Overall, the placement section of AIEM is very good and beyond my expectation level. From our department, almost 75% of the students got placed in different sectors like IT, telecom, networking, marketing and core sector-related jobs. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Mindtree, Capgemini, Amazon, TCS Ninja, Wipro, RS Software, Inspira, Maruti Suzuki and Byju's are the major companies which visit here for our placements. Almost all the students completed their industrial training from our department in different government and reputed private companies like NSCBTTC-BSNL, Smeer Electronics, Indian Railways, DPL, etc. Some of the students also got internship offers in companies. Roles offered are an associate engineer and assistant manager in different reputed companies. But before the placement drives, different skill enhancement training was provided to us to improve us. In our routine schedule, communication skills and reasoning class are also included.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of AIEM and our department is adequate. Classrooms are spacious, and the labs have all the necessary instruments to perform experiments. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and there is also a separate CS lab to surf the internet. We can access national and international journals in our library. All the books which are necessary for our semester, we get in advance through the book bank facility. Separate boys and girls hostels are also available on the campus. They serve quality food 4 times, and electricity, power back up and emergency medical facilities are available in the hostel. On the premises, there is a huge playground where students can play football, cricket, etc. A separate volleyball court is also available for boys, and there is a badminton court for girls. There is a common room in the college with a carrom and newspaper facility. I can spend quality time with my friends in the cafeteria, which is inside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are the backbone of our department. They are like our friend, philosopher and guide. We can get help from them in all situations. Most of the faculty members are either doctorate or masters holders in their domain. Class notes and PPT presentations are provided to us in a regular manner, along with textbook notes. In a semester, we have to face assessments 4 times, either in the form of assignment or class test or quiz mode. They also encourage us to participate in a poster competition, tech fest and journal paper publication. The syllabus is designed by our university named MAKAUT, which we are bound to follow. But this syllabus is designed on the basis of AICTE model curriculum, and it is enough for students to become industry-ready. We have to perform extracurricular activities also to get marks in mandatory additional requirement. We have to complete a minimum of 15 days of industrial training as per our course structure.

Other: Events like cultural fest, tech fest, Agomoni, Pahela Baishakh, Saraswati puja and Biswakarma puja are celebrated on our campus in a regular manner. There are different clubs like a science club, photography club and cultural club in the AIEM. All the clubs are very active and organise different competitions like innovative photography, rangoli, etc. According to our eligibility, we can avail of different government and private scholarships like Swami Vivekananda merit come means scholarship, MOMA, Aikyasree, NSP, different management scholarships, etc.
