 Eligibilty for B.Tech Lateral, Diploma &B.Sc Degree holders having at least 45% marks (40% for reserve category) with/without valid JELET score. Pass marks in XII standard in Mathematics in case of B.Sc Degree holders.

JEE Main, Joint Entrance Examination - Main

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations, are commonly abbreviated as WBJEE.

Besides the qualifying score in any of the JEE Mains or WBJEE, you must have qualified your 10+2 examination or equivalent with the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Computer Applications, as compulsory subjects. 45% marks in all these subjects will be made mandatory for general candidates whereas 40% marks for all candidates belonging to the respective reserved categories. For candidates belonging to the general class, a 30% mark in English has been compulsorily stipulated.

AIEM offer five full-time BTech courses and five Lateral Entry courses. The full-time course duration is four years and three years for Lateral Entry. The BTech courses are offered in various specialisations such as CSE, ECE, EE, ME etc. A total of 90 seats are available for BTech full-time courses, respectively.

Admission to the BTech course at Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management is based on JEE Main scores. The institute offers five BTech and five Lateral Entry courses. For Lateral Entry admission, aspirants must complete Class 12 with a 45% aggregate.
