It's not the best, but not the worst. College placements are low.
Infrastructure: The campus is nice, and AI and ML labs are available. Most of the time is spent in labs.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and qualified. Most teachers explain the concepts well. There is a proper schedule. Curriculum covers the important subjects, but students need to work on extra skills and projects to become industry-ready. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty. Each semester takes about four months to complete. If you attend classes regularly and prepare from notes along with previous-year papers, passing is not difficult.
Other: The campus is not very good, but it is decent. Overall, the academic environment is satisfactory and supports learning.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and placement cell.
Placements: Only 10 to 15% students got placement in the right place. Other students had to find out on their own. In my batch, only 7 to 9 students got placement above 4 placement rest got placement in the company name xyz, and after 6 months of training, they fired all except 2 students.
Infrastructure: The classroom was worse than a school classroom, they haven't renovated for many years. In front of the college's gate, there is a management building for MBA and PGDM students, only that building is good, and most of the time, everyone judges the whole college by visiting only this building.
Faculty: The faculty members were just doing their duty. They came every day, taught, and go same routine again and again. They never tracked the progress of students, they thought we would learn coding by video and AI help, so they didn't need to worry about that. They only covered the syllabus, not the soft skills or other things.

Good faculty, but you have to work hard.
Placements: My college was average in placement. Some students got placed, some did not. All that mattered for placement was you. If you worked hard, you definitely got placed. The reason for the average placement was that the college took admission with an even 45% in PCM, so many students were below average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average. The campus was 17 acres with nice buildings, nice roads, and greenery everywhere. The food quality was below average. I would say you could eat that food, but it was tasteless and not good at all. I would recommend a hostel outside the campus because the hostel inside was not that good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. They guided students well if they were interested and paid more attention to weaker students, so they were nice. The curriculum was followed by AKTU, and we all know the AKTU curriculum. The difficulty of exams was based on the AKTU examination pattern.
Other: They conducted fewer events, but students had fun whenever they were conducted. The campus crowd was smaller, which meant more attention for students. You got big scholarships if you had 80%+ in PCM.

Enjoyed the events, but placements could be better. Peaceful campus with good facilities.
Placements: Around 90 percent of students in my course are placed through campus placements. The highest package is 9 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package stood at 4 LPA. Some of the top companies that hire from our course include TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini Deloitte and more. Some of the common job roles are software developer business analyst data analyst project coordinator and sales/marketing.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in our classrooms include Wi Fi labs a library a water cooler and A/C. The quality of facilities in our hostel is also good. The rooms are clean and of decent size, usually shared by 2 or 3 students. Wi-Fi is available in the hostels as well. There is a 24/7 supply of water and electricity with backup support. The quality of food available in the mess is good, and the medical facilities are very good. For sports, there are outdoor grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, etc. Indoor games like table tennis, carrom, and chess are also available. Some hostels or campuses even have a gym with basic equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, friendly, and ready to clear doubts. Most are well-qualified and experienced in their subject. The teaching quality is good, and some teachers also give real-life or industry examples. Many colleges also add workshops, internships, and projects to make students ready for jobs. Still, students may need to do extra learning or certifications for top companies. It’s not hard if you attend classes and study regularly. Questions are mostly from what is taught in class. The pass percentage is usually high, around 85% to 95%, depending on the course.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in the subject, and it has good job opportunities in the future. It also matches my skills and career goals. However, some things could be improved, more industry exposure and company visits would help, and a few subjects need to be updated with the latest trends. More focus on soft skills and interview preparation would also be beneficial. The college hosts fun tech fests, cultural events, and sports meets, where students actively take part in dance, music, drama, and coding competitions. The campus crowd is friendly and diverse, with students from different cities and backgrounds.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2026

Placements are average here.
Placements: In my course, about 60% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA, so there is quite a big gap. Unfortunately, very few companies visit our campus for this course, which limits opportunities. Around 59% of students managed to get internships, but mostly in small local firms or startups rather than big names.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for MCA is modern and well-equipped. Classrooms are average. It has high-speed internet. The library has a huge collection of books and a digital library facility with access to IEEE papers and journals. The hostel facilities are decent. Rooms are clean, with Wi-Fi, and security is strict. The mess food is very bad. There is a separate canteen that serves better food at a reasonable price.
Faculty: Faculty members are a mixed bag. Some teachers are highly knowledgeable and helpful, especially in coding and specialised subjects like machine learning. However, others focus heavily on theory with less practical exposure. The course curriculum is moderately updated, including topics like AI, data science, and cloud computing, but lacks advanced practical projects that can truly make students industry-ready. Exams are not too difficult if we attend classes regularly. Papers are mostly moderate, with a pass percentage of about 60% in my batch. Internal marks and assignments help boost grades. However, exam paper evaluation can sometimes be consistent.
Other: I chose MCA because I have always been interested in emerging tech. The best thing about the course is the affordable and good labs for practical work. I wish there were more emphasis on industry projects and live internships integrated into the curriculum. The total fee for the entire 2-year MCA course is around 4.2 lakhs, including hostel, mess, and other charges. I would recommend the college, especially for students who are focused on placements and want good infrastructure. But be ready to put in their own efforts to learn about advanced industries.

Average college.
Placements: Mainly, all students are placed, but some are not placed due to low CGPA and do not fulfill the criteria of the company. Mainly, students got placed in the Chetu company for a software engineer role with an average package of 3 LPA to 5LPA. Major sales companies come, and also some tech or good companies come.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad, and Wi-Fi is good in classrooms but bad in the hostel. The labs and library are average. The hostel facility is the worst, and the behavior of the warden is very bad. I never suggest that you go to a hostel, and the food is also very bad, and many times, a chair or an insect is found in the food.
Faculty: Faculty is average, it supports you, and the curriculum of the exam is the same as the semester exam, but the sessional exam is only 30 marks that occur in college and is of 70 marks. If you want to get good marks in the PUT exam, you must do the previous year's question paper of the AKTU exam, as the same questions are asked in the PUT exam.
