ACE BTech Minimum Eligibility

Academic: A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together as given below:  

 Vocational Studies: A pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational subject) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with a minimum average percentage put together as given below:  

The candidates need to check the eligibility criteria of TNEA on the official websites. It is required by the candidate to comply with the rules in order to appear for the exam.

Direct Second Year BE / BTech (Lateral Entry) Degree Courses

Diploma Candidates : A pass with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any one of the Diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu / equivalent prescribed for admission to the Degree Course (Refer list of eligible Degree Courses for various Diploma Courses) 
BSc Candidates: A pass with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with 10+2+3 years pattern and studied core Mathematics as one of the subjects at degree level.  

Note:  Candidates with Degree other than Bachelor of Science are not eligible.  

For any clarification with regard to Diploma qualification, write a letter to DOTE, get it clarified and then admit students.  On any account, candidates without prescribed qualifications will not be given admission approval.  

Note: when the candidates produce grade certificate, they have to produce the actual marks also otherwise only the minimum marks applicable to the grades in the subjects will be taken into account. 

ACE BTech Admission and Selection Process 2022

Admissions to the 4 year BE/BTech programmes will be made on the basis of TNEA scores. It is mandatory for the candidate to get a valid score in the qualifying examination in order to make them eligible for admissions.  The candidates need to comply with the rules in order to appear for the exam.

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by Anna University to offer admissions to candidates in various engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.

TNEA 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates are eligible to apply for TNEA if they have cleared their HSC (academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together as mentioned below:

Apart from the above mentioned eligibility criteria, candidates will also be eligible for admissions if they have cleared any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) as mentioned below with an one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with a minimum average percentage put together as mentioned below:

 TNEA 2018 Admission Process

Candidates can apply for admissions through TNEA through the below mentioned modes:

• In person: Through 50 TNEA admission centres
• Postal: Only from Anna University, the Centre for Entrance Examinations and Admissions Internet: Though Anna University official website

Candidates have to submit their duly filled TNEA 2018 application form either in-person or by post along with photocopies of their mark sheets, age proof and copes of all relevant certificates at the address mentioned here before the due date: Secretary, TNEA, Anna University, Chennai.

TNEA 2018 Selection Process  

After normalising marks scored by candidates (across all boards), the final merit list followed by TNEA rank list is prepared on the following factors:

• Percentage of marks in Mathematics
• Percentage of marks in Physics
• Percentage of marks in Chemistry
• Percentage of marks in the 4th optional subject
• Date of Birth (elder candidates are given preference)

TNEA rank list is published depending on the overall rank, community-wise and region-wise. 

TNEA 2022 Counselling Procedure

The counseling procedure for TNEA mostly commences in the third week of June. The entire TNEA counselling process is spread over five stages which are:

• Application Issue & Submission
• Application Scrutiny
• Random Number and Rank Publication
• Counseling Call Letter Despatch
• Single Window Counselling

 ACE BTech Application Process 2022

Candidates can apply for all courses offered at Anna University in the online mode only. The application fee also needs to be paid in the online mode (debit card/ credit card/ net banking).

TNEA 2022 Application Process

• TNEA Application Form is available in online mode only. Candidates have to first opt for registration with personal and academic details.
• Candidates can now pay the application fee online via Net Banking/Debit Card/ Credit Card or through a demand draft drawn in favor of "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, Anna University".
• Candidates have to send the filled-in TNEA Application either in person or by post along with photocopies of mark sheet(s), proof of age and copies of all other relevant certificates to the Secretary, TNEA, Anna University, Chennai, on or before the last date.
• SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu desirous of availing registration fee concession should submit a photocopy of the Permanent Community Certificate Card or electronic form/digitally signed e-certificate.
• All the demand drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary (TNEA), Anna University” payable at Chennai.

Candidates shall enclose the following certificates along with the application:

In Original-

• Filled-in Coding Sheet
• Special Reservation Form and photocopy of relevant certificate with a of the prescribed application fee.

Photocopy of-

• 10th Mark Sheet
• HSC/Equivalent Mark Sheet
• Transfer Certificate
• Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM candidates (either permanent card or electronic form/digitally signed e-certificate)
• HSC Hall Ticket
• Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate (if applicable).
• First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (only in electronic form/digitally signed e-certificate will be accepted) (if applicable).
• Srilankan Tamil Refugee certificate (if applicable).

ACE BTech Admission Cycle 2022

The admissions in the 4 year BTech programmes at ACE are offered on the basis of TNEA Counseling. The admission cycle for TNEA Counselling usually begins with the application submissions which is made available for the candidates in the month of May and the final counselling process commences in the month of June. The admissions cycle ends with the commencement of the academic session which usually begins in the month of August.

ACE BTech International Students Admission 2022

Adhiyamaan College offers admission to Foreign Nationals (FN), Children of Indian Workers in Gulf countries (CIWGC), and Non-Resident Indians (NRI) in the 4 year BE/BTech programmes.

Eligibility for International Students Admission 2022

International students are admitted in the college on the basis of merit through counselling.
