It is a good college, and it provides more placements.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Above 70% of students from our course got an internship. An international manager role is offered by TVS. One of my friends got placed in TVS as manager. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Qspiders, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has all basic facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, a library, classrooms, and a garden. The quality of food served is average, and they provide non-vegetarian weekly twice. It also has a canteen which serves the best food, and they maintain a hygienic environment. There are no medical facilities. It has a good playground.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are experienced. They teach us very well. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry-ready because, in mechanical engineering, most of the subjects are practical. Few subjects in mechanical engineering are difficult, like BTD, TM, DOM, and DME. The pass percentage is below 5 grade.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am very much interested in mechanical. I love cars and automation-related things. It celebrates Chunchana every year.

Placements in our college are not good for mechanical engineering students.

Placements: None of the core company will come to the college for recruiting mechanical engineer students. In our batch, only 5 to 6 students are placed, and about 3 to 4% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. There is no top recruiting company in our college. Top companies will visit here to hire our senior batch like ACE designers, etc. The college does not provide any internships in industries.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Lab facilities, library, classrooms, Wi-Fi and canteen, are very good. Boys hostels are good as compared to other colleges, but no medical facilities will be given.

Faculty: Teachers of our college are very good as compared to other colleges. They give good notes, and teaching is the best as compared to other colleges. But reading in any specialisation is not enough for students to be industry-ready. After passing the course and joining a job, they will get ready for the industry.

Other: Events in Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology are good. They arrange a lot of events for all branches in the college every year. Fests conducted here are not good. They are taking around Rs. 500, but they are not giving good food compared to other colleges. Scholarship provided by the government is given late after the government released, but they will give after 2 months.
