A good college in a good environment.

Placements: The placement is very good for the people who are willing to go for IT sector. It is one of the best colleges in remote places giving placements in a good quality. The human resource department is efficient. They are providing soft skills teaching, pre-placement training from 1st year itself.

Infrastructure: This college has Wi-Fi facility, and the labs are very much advanced. The classroom environment is awesome, and it has one of the best libraries and good sports achievement. The college is present in the heart of the nature that is Chikmagalur, and it is situated above a mountain.

Faculty: The faculty members are very much knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, but less practical teaching is done (not in this college, every college does the same). The best part of this college is that they have good faculty-student ratio and counselling will be done for the students personally.

Other: The college fest Chunchana is done every year. It is a grand celebration.

Average satisfaction with faculty, proper infrastructure, placements good only for IT students

Placements: Placements are good. Most of the recruiters are IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, NTT Data, Tech Mahindra, etc. Most of the students get placed with an average package of 3-4 lakhs per annum. The roles offered are software engineer to most of the students. For our batch, the placement was good.

Infrastructure: All the infrastructures are proper. All labs are properly equipped with a Wi-Fi connection for all computers. There is a playground which supports for sports and games. Classrooms are equipped with boards and also some seminar halls are there for presentations on various topics.

Faculty: The faculty team was somehow not up to the mark except senior faculties. Most of the faculties are not properly experienced in teaching. The student-teacher ratio is 60:1. We didn't get any industry exposure from the college; we got only theoretical knowledge. The course curriculum was not properly useful because we are facing trouble in getting placed in core branch companies.

Other: The college is overall good except that there is no proper link between industry&college which is the main drawback in our university. There is need of maintaining proper relation between college&company. Also teachers training progrmmes must be initiated to ensure good knowledge for students.
