Overall, the best college in Chikmagalur.
Placements: About 85.2% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our branch are Capgemini, BMW, Mercedes, Infosys, etc. But I’m not sure about internships because I am still studying in the 1st year.
Infrastructure: College has its best library and lab facilities but lacks a Wi-Fi facility. The teachers have good experience. Coming to hostel food, they provide a variety of food menus throughout the week and go according to the timetable, but also lack a Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and have great teaching experience. All the teachers are also helpful. The branch also takes us for industrial visits for better practical experience. The semester exams are of moderate level, and the question papers come from VTU University.
Other: I chose Electrical and Electronics Engineering because there will be an upcoming green revolution in society, and it is flexible in all fields, both core and ITI sectors. The campus crowd is great, and the campus is covered with lush greenery. The fests are celebrated often.

In our college, only one are two students will get placed.
Placements: The percentage required to get placed is above 6.5 CGPA. The highest package offered by companies is above 6.5 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The top companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Reliance, etc. There is an understanding of fundamental concepts like analog and digital circuits, communication systems, and embedded systems.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay in our college. Labs are not good in our college. There is no Wi-Fi connection. Libraries are not that good in our college. The facility of hostel food is not good, and the canteen food is also not good. Sports and games are only present when events are there.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching is not that good. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make us industry-ready. Exams are not that difficult for us, and it is easy. Lectures are completed. There are only 3 modules, and in the remaining 2 modules, they will be on leave.
Other: No, in our college, they will not do any events or other activities.

Best college for engineering in Chikmagalur.
Placements: The placement in the college is very poor because every year, the maximum number of the students won't get a job in this college. So we are really fed up because of placements, especially for the civil and mechanical departments. No companies will come for placements.
Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure, of course, provided in the college with modules. The labs are in very good condition. The library is also very good, where we can spend our time studying in the library, and it is also very peaceful. I have no idea about the college hostel because I haven't chosen the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good and faculty are very friendly with students. They guide the students very well and all the faculty in the college are well educated. Exams are done very strictly in a well-disciplined manner, but sometimes, due to university responsibility, the exams will be delayed.

A brief review of Adichunchungiri Institute of Technology, Chikmagalur.
Placements: 65-70% of students get placed every year in this course. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA. ABB, Google, ChatGPT, Amazon, TCS, etc., visit the campus. About 40% of students get internships in this course. The top roles offered are machine building, program development, and robotics building.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old and nice. Classrooms are clean and connected with projectors. The campus is covered with average-speed Wi-Fi, there are many labs, and the library has every book that we need in 4 years. The faculty are good and well-educated, and everyone has at least a Ph.D. There is a canteen for students where we can get everything. The mess always has boring food, but it is tasty. For any emergency, they provide a van for the hospital. The college has a very large ground for sports and also has a gym.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is awesome. No, the course curriculum does not make students industry-ready as much as the industry needs. The semester exams are not difficult to score in but are not easy to pass. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in both machine learning and program development, and as part of this course, you can get a job in both segments: machine building or program development.

The college campus amidst nature.
Placements: Only 60% of students were placed in our college, as companies coming to our college are very few. The highest package was 11 LPA till now. Average package is 3 LPA.
Top companies coming to our college are TCS and Accenture.
They do not provide internships from our college.
Software developer is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Wifi is provided to our ID monthly on request.
Labs and classrooms are sufficiently comfortable.
The quality of the food is bad, not tasty at all. Canteen is good but untidy. Medical facilities are excellent, and sports are highly encouraged here.
Faculty: Faculty is very friendly and understanding in our department.
Our syllabus is relevant, as ours is a VTU syllabus. It makes students industry-ready, but a still more efficient way is required.
Difficulty level is reduced as half of the marks are with our faculty.
Other: I chose this course only because I did not want to do medicine. I found out my interest in coding in my 12th grade.
I want my course to improve teaching in coding languages.
Events are conducted regularly; Fest is conducted every year. Branch festivals are also done in a grand way.

Peaceful atmosphere with less crowd.
Placements: In our college, the highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro and Infosys provide high packages, while others offer lower ones. Most of the students get hired for low packages, but they need to develop skills to get placed. The college provides good training facilities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, I would rate it 7 out of 10. The canteen food quality is an 8 out of 10, and the campus is quite large. The hostel facilities are also good. The boys' hostel is inside the campus, while the girls' hostel is located outside. The girls' hostel provides good food and water facilities and is maintained in good, clean condition.
Faculty: Almost all professors have completed their education in the same college. They are friendly, helpful to students in every aspect, including attendance. They also support students to score well in VTU exams by helping with internals. It's not difficult to pass; we can easily clear every subject with their guidance.
Other: The crowd is very minimal, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Two main events are organized, with Chunchana being held once a year.
