More than 30,000 seats are to be filled using the PGCET 2026 MBA scores. As per the expected seat matrix, around 30,000 will be filled for MBA admissions across 260 colleges in the state. The MCA course has more than 12,000 seats to be filled via PGCET 2025 ranks. Engineering courses will fill around 5,000 seats through PGCET 2026 scores.

Karnataka PGCET Seat Matrix 2026: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) releases PGCET seat matrix for admission to MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, and MArch courses. Candidates can check the previous year's cutoff, seat matrix, and their ranks before participating in the option entry process. Choosing college preferences based on PGCET ranks requires candidates to consider the college-wise seats available. Candidates who took the exam can check the Karnataka PGCET 2026 seat matrix from the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. As per the previous year's seat matrix, more than 57,000 seats were to be filled by the Karnataka PGCET participating colleges.

More than 280 colleges offer MBA admissions through Karnataka PGCET 2026. The MCA course has more than 16,000 seats to be filled using Karnataka PGCET 2026 results. KEA conducts the Karnataka PGCET exam for admissions to the following courses:

NOTE: KEA will not conduct the Karnataka PGCET exam for MArch courses, however, the MArch admissions in Karnataka will be based on the centralised counselling to be administered by KEA.

Total seats available on this page are based on the previous year's draft seat matrix issued by KEA in the previous exam session. KEA might change the total seats for admissions during the Karnataka PGCET 2026 counselling process.

Karnataka Examinations Authority does not release the PGCET cutoff scores/ranks along with the declaration of the results. Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the PGCET exam every year across multiple cities in the state. While filling the application form, candidates have to choose the test centre preference. KEA will try allocatring a test centre in the prefered exam city. KEA mighty allocate multiple exam centres in one city. In the past exam session candidates had to choose a test city preference among 29 test cities.

Q:   Am I eligible to apply for Karnataka PGCET MBA if I have less than 50 percent in my Bachelors degree?
A: 

Unreserved category candidate is not eligible to apply for the Karnataka PGCET MBA course if they have less than 50 per cent marks in their bachelor's degree. Minimum percentage is 45 per cent for reserved categories.

More than 250 colleges accept the Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam for admissions to PG professional courses. Few colleges may offer all courses at the campus. While some Karnataka PGCET colleges may offer only one course for admission through PGCET scores.
