I'm satisfied due to faculty, good placements in 2020 and really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 30% of the students were placed from our course. Some companies offer the highest salary of Rs. 60,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. About 10% of the students got internships from our course in Tata companies. Many companies visit our college for campus placements.

Infrastructure: There are some facilities and infrastructure for our department like physics and chemistry labs, library, classrooms, workshop, etc. In our college hostel, playground and medical facilities are of the best quality. But the quality of the food served is not the best because they serve vegetarian food every day.

Faculty: In our college, teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, so their teaching quality is fantastic. Our principal is a very knowledgeable and strict person. I can gain high knowledge from our teachers. Our teachers behave more friendly with students.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is the main branch of engineering. This course is best because we can find our jobs easily. I think the infrastructure should be improved in our course.

Government-sponsored polytechnic college at Dakshineswar, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Placements: It is fully merit-based admission. The merit list is generated by the West Bengal Technical Council. 1st semester admission is called JEXPO 3rd semester lateral entry is called VOCLET. The highest package is 3.85 LPA, the lowest is 1.50 LPA. Recruiting companies are L&T, Jindal, Shyam Steel, BCPL, etc. At present, only 3 courses are available at this college diploma in EE, CE, and ME.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is average. Labs and classrooms are average. Library is available. Hostel quality is very poor. Canteen is not available. For sports, there is a playground at this college. Medical facilities are available in this college. Hospital is also available beside the college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and polite. Teachers are very knowledgeable and their quality is absolutely fine. This is a government polytechnic that's why teachers are very good. Curriculum structure of this college is fixed by the West Bengal Technical Council. This type of curriculum is enough for industry. But needs also practical knowledge. Semester questions are fixed by the West Bengal Technical Council. Minimum of 40% is required to pass semester.

Our college has very good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were not properly provided in our college. Around 2 to 3 students got jobs on campus. Our college promised placements but didn't provide them.

Infrastructure: Labs were not very good in our college. Wi-Fi was not provided in our college but the municipality Wi-Fi zone was near our college. Classrooms were good but the libraries were average. The mess was good. Sports and medical facilities were available.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very good, helpful, and highly qualified. They helped students in clearing their doubts and took responsibility for every student individually. The course curriculum made students ready for industry work. Semester exams were good and difficult. The average pass percentage was 70%.
