Nice college for those who want to shine in life.

Placements: Our college gives placement in various companies like Wipro, Infosys, Bluestar, ThoughtWorks, etc. The company gives us roles in the office, like Junior Engineer and Junior Data Analyst. So you can join our college as soon as possible. This would be best.

Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure, but the building is old. There are too many computer labs and 1 playground in the middle of the college. The building is blue like other government colleges. After all, the infrastructure at the college is best for any kind of student.

Faculty: The curriculum is also good. Faculty members are the best. They are too helpful to us. Exams are not so easy, but also not so tough. In spite of all departments, the Computer Science and Technology department is the best department in the college. The student and the teachers are too good.

Reviewing my own college CCP.

Placements: Approximately 60 of our seniors got placements in companies like Thougt Works, Blue star, information tech, etc. They got job roles as ux designers, junior software developer, backend programmer, etc. We got placements in these companies in terms of salary as 40k per month. The highest package of our senior most batch was 55k per month, and the low was 26k / month. We also get internships in companies like Intern Techs., Siemens, Wipro, etc. We also avail stipends for these companies.

Infrastructure: In our college, we have one 'c' structured main building with 4 floors. In our department of computer science and technology, we have 2 computer labs, and 1 classroom for theory classes. Our college has a big library of reading capacity of 300 seats, where more than 5000 books are present for both teachers and students. We have full network connectivity in our college. Our college also has its own Wi-Fi connectivity in all the required places. In our college, various food items are present at affordable prices for the students.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very relevant because of which students can get their dream jobs. The curriculum is mainly hosted by WBSCTE. Our respected teachers are also very helpful. They are well-versed in our syllabus and related topics in our course. Semester exams are not very difficult to pass. Approximately 90% students clear their semesters with no trouble.

The environment is fine where students can do the practical.

Placements: Approximately 90% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are L&T and Wipro which visit our campus to hire students. More than 20 companies visit and hire students through exams and interviews. Almost 60-75% of students get placements, and the other students opt for higher studies i.e B.Tech through Jelet.

Infrastructure: In this college, laboratories are well maintained and enough for being practiced. There is enough computer for CST students, for mechanical students, there is a mechanical workshop. The classrooms are big and full with advanced facilities. It provides a library where students can only found course related books.

Faculty: Teachers are well educated and the way they teach is fine. It depends on how much-focused students are if they are diverted by something. The exams are not difficult if students are well prepared, approximately 98% of students get passed.

Review of Central Calcutta Polytechnic College.

Placements: More than half of the students from my department were placed but most of them opted for higher studies. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA approximately and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA approximately. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, Infosys, Ceat Tyres, and L&T. Top roles offered were junior engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The computer science and technology department was well-equipped with computers and all other facilities. The classrooms were spacious and comfortable. The labs were fully air-conditioned and had a good number of computers for practice. The library had all books available.

Faculty: All the teachers in the computer science and technology department were very qualified, knowledgeable, and very much helpful. They would help you with all of your academic problems and would guide you in a proper way. The teaching quality of the teachers was also very good. Everybody could understand clearly from the class.

It is the best college for diploma in computer science and technology.

Placements: Almost 10 out of 25 students from our batch were placed in 2015. Tech Mahindra and Infosys came to our college for placements. The highest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Around 5 students got internships. Software tester is the role offered in our course. Some students join as hardware engineers.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available but we have good classrooms and labs with almost a single computer for a student. Library is available with the latest updated books. Hostel is not available in our college. But the mess is in good condition nearby. Sports ground is available in our college.

Faculty: In our college, there is a good relationship between teachers and students. We got all types of help from our teachers. They find and tell us what is our weaknesses and what is our strength. So we try our best to overcome our weaknesses. They make us suitable for the industry. Semester exams are good.

Our college provided good placements in 2024.

Placements: I took admission this year through lateral entry in the 2nd year. If I talk about the percentage of placed students from our department, then it is much better than any other polytechnic college in our state. Approximately 90% of students are offered placements by many companies like TCS, Wipro, and ThoughtWorks. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA by ThoughtWorks. In terms of placements, the college has a placement cell that helps students secure internships and job opportunities, although the job prospects may vary depending on the field of study. Students from streams like civil and mechanical engineering seem to have better placements.

Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with decent infrastructure, including modern laboratories, workshops, and technological advancements.

Faculty: I can assure students that faculty members of our department are the best. Our teachers are very helpful, and they clear all doubts. Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exam is standard and not very tough but also not easy. If students are active in classes, they can easily pass. The pass percentage is about 95%. Faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced, although there are mixed reviews about the teaching quality in certain departments. The college is also known for organizing workshops and seminars, which give students exposure to practical aspects of their fields.

Review of Central Calcutta Polytechnic college.

Placements: Placements record is good, especially for computer science students. After that, the situation has been improving science. Around 100% of placements are provided this year.

Infrastructure: College has no hostel but several guest houses are available nearby. College has all the essential labs, and workshops. They are updating them with all the modern equipment.

Faculty: Faculty members for each department fulfill AICTE norms. The department has taken the initiative to fill up all the posts to maintain standards of teacher-student ratio. For the exams, you will face 6 semesters in 3 years, and with that 12 internals and 6 labs & workshop exams.
