Army Institute of Management Admission 2025: Fees, Courses, Eligibility and Selection

The admission process of AIM Kolkata is given below: 

Step 1: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form online. They need to pay an application fee and upload some documents to complete the application process.

Step 2: AIM Kolkata accepts CAT /JEMAT score for admission to MBA course. After qualifying the minimum eligibility criteria, candidates have to appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The shortlisted candidates will be selected for the course.

Step 3: Candidates shortlisted as per the merit lists will have to submit the prescribed admission fee for the particular course. Following this, candidates are required to go through the document verification and are intimated about the date of commencement of the classes.

For admision to the Army Institute of Management, the candidates must have completed bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% aggregate. Apart from this, the candidate must clear any of the below mentioned entrance exam:

1. CAT
2. JEMAT

Also, after qualifying the minimum eligibility criteria candidates have to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI). 

AIM - Army Institute of Management offers the MBA courses to candidates in multiple specialisations. Candidates have a variety of fields to choose from in the semester three and four. Though, it's important to consider other factors such as infrastructure, faculty, curriculum, fees structure, etc. while taking admission. To get admission to AIM Kolkata, candidate must fulfill the below eligibility criteria: 

Candidates are selected for admission in Army Institute of Management- AIMK based on their scores in the CAT or JEMAT exam. Candidates must appear for any of these exams and achieve a valid aggregate in the same to take admission in Army Institute of Management. Additionally, candidates are also required to clear the GD and PI round conducted by the institute. 

Yes, a candidate can apply for Army Institute of Management admission if graduation results are pending. The institute may offer them provisional admission in this case and they must appear for the CAT/JEMAT exam. However, the candidate must submit the marksheet and certificate of graduation once the results are declared. 

At the time of filling the application form for admission to AIM Kolkata, candidates have to submit an application fee of INR 500 for Wards of Personnel from the Indian Army and INR 600 for the Applicants from Non - Indian Army background. 7. Graduation Marksheet (Last Semester / Year attended)
8. Graduation Certificate (If Available)
9. Certificate of Gallantry Award (If Applicable)
10. Certificate - 1 / 2 / 3 (Which Ever is Applicable, Please check eligibility criteria as given in the Prospectus)
11. Photocopy of PPO (In case of ward of retired Army Person)
12. DSC Personnel should attach PPO for the proof of previous Army Service
13. Payment Receipt

Yes, AIM - Army Institute of Management offers scholarships to candidates based on both merit and need. The scholarships offered by AIM - Army Institute of Management include- TATA merit scholarship and Army Commander's scholarship. Candidates can apply for scholarship by contacting the admission office of AIM - Army Institute of Management.
