NIT Durgapur Admission 2025: Cutoff, Fees, Eligibility & Application

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering was 36281 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. Candidates must pass BSc in relevant discipline with at 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ ST) to apply for NIT Durgapur MSc programme. Besides, aspirants must also pass IIT JAM followed by CCMN Counselling for admission to MSc.

To get admission to NIT Durgapur for CSE, candidates can have a rank of 12268 or below according to NIT Durgapur BTech cutoff 2025 if they belong to the General AI category. 

The cutoff for the OBC AI category candidates was closed at 16608 for CSE. For the SC AI and ST AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks closed at 1641 and 584, respectively. NIT Durgapur offers BSc + MSc (integrated) programme. The institute provides admission to applicants who clear the required JEE Main cut-off. Hence, the admission process begins with the JEE Main application process. For NIT Durgapur Integrated MSc admissions 2026, the JEE (Main) will be conducted in two sessions. The registration process for the first session of the exam (to be held in January) will take place in October (tentative). • Job experience certificate (if applicable)
