It is a three-year course spread over six semesters at Alva's College followed by a personal interview. The course degree is offered through Mangalore University. Alva’s College offers four Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, i.e., BCom-General, BCom in Professional, BCom with Computer Application & BCom with Tax Procedure which is spread over three years and consists of six semesters. The Dept also facilitated students to pursue professional courses such as CA, CS by providing coaching for the exams at various levels like CPT/CA Foundation, IPCE/Inter,  CS Foundation & Executive,  IBPS -Bank Exam coaching etc.
