Students who have cleared their Intermediate/ 12th class from institutions that fall under the Government of Bihar, and are unable to pursue higher education due to financial constraints are the beneficiary of the scheme. For B.Tech and MBA, caste and counseling requirements vary by category: Gen, SC/ST/Minority (caste certificate + counseling), OBC (no counseling needed).
For BBA, BCA, and BCom, only the income certificate is needed, with no caste or counseling requirements.
