Life at Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication.
Placements: According to the institute, only 40% of students are placed yet they claim to have 100% placement. Overall, not more than 2.4 LPA was offered. The top companies are Densu and Hawas, but none showed up this year. Limited students got internships at companies like Blue Stone, Adfactor, FCB Ulka, and M Wizard. The top role offered is client servicing.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fine, large enough and spacious; the library is also good; and Wi-Fi is not available for all. I checked the hostel and found it quite shaddy; it's a collaborative hostel taken on, please; it's co-owned with students from different colleges; the mess was fine; and no other facilities are provided.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified and knowledgeable but is not friendly, understanding or supportive. Curriculum is fine but it doesn't make you industry-ready; only a few get the opportunity who are dear to the faculty. Exams are fine, not too difficult. If you know the concept, you'll pass.

It is a growing experience, both personally and professionally.
Placements: Placements in our college were extremely easy to get into. There are ample opportunities for students interested in creating an impact. Companies were interested in hiring students with hard skills and talent to complete work. Many companies are arriving in the campus during the placement season. I was offered multiple internships. As part of my project, I got a chance to work with interesting photographers and video teams now working with huge brands.
Infrastructure: The campus is fun and spacious as opposed to many other smaller colleges in the area. There are multiple video projects in which we had to spend a lot of time finding the right location to shoot and the light settings to go with the scene for the advertisement. The canteen was always helpful when we want to have food. Food served was not bad.
Faculty: The fee structure was a little tedious to get a grasp on. The fee was on the higher side, and in the starting, it was a concern, but soon after the first and second placement, it paid for itself. It is not a huge investment if you see its benefits in the long run. Professors in our college are well-respected in their field. They are well-versed with their specialisation. There are many famous professors and lecturers to conduct guest classes.

Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication.
Placements: The students have been placed to good companies and majorly the top companies only come here and approach the students. Every students is given a guaranteed placement or internship. It's absolutely amazing to know even from the alumni. They make sure that the student is happy.
Infrastructure: The facilities are great and even the infrastructure. Everything is just as good as a students would want it to be in their post graduation. It has books, professors and all know content extremely knowledgeable. They all make sense and make sure that the student is on the perfect track.
Faculty: Extremely helpful, experienced and qualified teachers who have great industry experience and have been working or owning extremely well-known organizations or agencies. Yes, the course definitely makes the students industry ready because the faculty is so damn amazing.
Other: I chose the course because I want to get into Advertising and here it all makes sense. You get the idea of how the industry works by the best professors and extremely talented and knowledgeable too. The events, the fests, the film festival and everything that the college offers the students is by the students and for the students. Which honestly is the best part.

Review of Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication Dwarka Delhi (AIMC).
Placements: Teachers guide every student, and they make students industry-ready with full confidence and passion. Last year 99% of placements and internship was provided to the students, and they were satisfied with tier performances, and salary packages offered from 2 LPA and move forward according to their capability.
Infrastructure: College provided facilities like proper washrooms, excellent medical facilities, a sports room, an amphitheatre, hygienic canteen and an auditorium. Classrooms are spacious with proper chairs and air-conditioned facility, and a huge library with computers and advertising labs, editing room and a photography lab are also provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly professional and experienced lecturers who acknowledge every student personally. Guiding students from the very first day of college and becomes a family. They teach very interesting concepts with proper powerpoint presentations.

A nice place to experience an industry oriented education system.
Placements: The placements offered here are decent. The institution provides you with a chance to present yourself in front of the organisations related to your field of interest. The organisation also tries to provide its every student an internship which further is converted into a job.
Infrastructure: The college shares its infrastructure with its sister institution, Apeejay School of Management. Apart from that, the college provides students with good classrooms, proper canteen and decent labs with good internet speed. The college uses Mac hardware for video editing.
Faculty: The intake of students here is not large, thus, the faculty gives enough attention to each student and help throughout the course. The course is divided into 3 semesters. Every aspect of the subject is included in the curriculum be it events, academics and any other activity.

Overall verdict: Good but little heavy on the pocket.
Placements: I was placed even before my second semester got over. I was placed with a package of 3 LPA. That might sound like too less to some, but the field of advertising doesn't offer you much in the beginning. You'll have to be a steady learner of things at your workplace. Students with working experience got placed with higher packages though.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure could have been better. Less space for outdoor sports. But still ample space for a study centre. A big auditorium but no proper backstage or green room attached to it. Don't expect a university like structure. Their computers run on Ubuntu which is a little hard to tackle. The library is good.
Faculty: Great faculty, they are very stringent about attendance. Good for inculcated discipline. A little favoritism was there though, I think that's everywhere. The course module is good. The books provided were a good read. The brand case studies were the best part, though few subjects like communication are boring and sleep-inducing.
Other: Overall, a good learning centre. They don't have hostels of their own. Plus, we never went on a college trip though.(other than industrial visits) Nearby Dwarka Metro sector -9, it's high on accessibility. The PGs are offered around Ramphal Chowk, Dwarka Sector-7, which is a little congested area. Though DDA flats in sector 9 are a peaceful bet.

Other: The college has one of the best infrastructures in the entire University of Delhi to boast about. It sprawls over 11 acres. There is an auditorium which can arguably be considered as one of the best too in the entire University with a seating capacity of over 600 people. The college also boats about greenery with well maintained lawns. Students vehicle parking is ample and is available inside the college. The departments and faculties are well organised in taking there lectures and a good amount of learning is done on regular basis. The college canteen also serves decent food with subsidized prices and a varied menu. Courses are available in every stream - Science, Commerce and Arts. The college houses a good mix of of students and the 'good crowd' that most youngsters want could be found here. Another quality for students who are engaged in cultural activities is that there are Cultural Societies for almost every genre - Acting, Dancing, Music, Fine Arts, Photography, Literature and Debating and many more! For the festival hungry, major stars like Hard Kaur, Benny Dayal, DJ Suketu and more have performed in the college's annual cultural fest Tryst. For those who love sports, the college ranks among the top 10 colleges in the university for Basketball, Football, Softball and Volleyball and Athletics..The college has an entire football ground, volleyball and basketball court for students to practice. At Keshav Mahavidyalaya or KMV (fondly as it is called), academics and cultural activities go together with the abundant support of the faculty

Everything else is satisfying except the placement and digital marketing course.
Placements: 1- Almost half batch is placed and half is left due to covid-19. 2- I am not aware of the salary but the basic salary grabbed by most students is 3 lakhs per annum. 3- Edelmen, Genesis PR 4- Media planner, copywriter, client servicing, digital marketing roles were offered. 5- 1/3 students have got internship in companies such as FCB Ulka, Contract advertising.
Infrastructure: 1- All the necessary facilities for students are available in the college for practise such as TV studio photography room, library, canteen, auditorium, Smart classrooms, air conditioner facility in classrooms and cleanliness. 2- There's no hostel facilities provided by the college.
Faculty: 1-All the teachers here in campus are highly qualified an served for many years in their respective fields then have joined teaching. There are sessions with visiting faculty who are working on board in big companies and visit to give exposures to us. Teaching includes both practical and theoretical practices.
Other: 1- I chose this course because I wanted to explore marketing and advertising field in depth and to acquire more knowledge. 2- I want them either to totally shut the digital marketing course from their offered subjects because they don't teach you digital marketing with more understanding and knowledge which you will need in future. You can learn it from google better than them. Almost negligible classes conducted for digital marketing. 3- They conduct small events on almost every occasion other than that they have their campus events such as media chaupal and synergy in which you can enjoy and participate as well.
