50 students received domestic offers with package more than INR 1 crore per annum during the IIT Delhi placement drive 2023. Further, the highest international package offered during IIT Delhi placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 crore per annum. 

IIT Delhi OBC cutoff 2025 for JEE Advanced is yet to be released. However, during the last round cutoff in 2024, the JEE Advanced closing ranks for BTech admission varied between 89 and 3185 in the All India quota. In the first round, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission compared to the final round. Therefore, based on last year's cutoff ranks, a JEE Advanced rank of 7000 does not allow for admission at IIT Delhi for any BTech or Integrated BTech courses for students belonging to the OBC AI category.

Candidates who meet the course-specific eligibility criteria and have a valid GATE score can apply. Aspirants can complete the application form through the IIT Delhi official website. This is for M.Tech full-time programmes. For part-time/sponsored full-time courses, eligible candidates can register directly at the official website. Admission to part-time M.Tech is based on a written exam and interview round conducted by the institute.

At end of IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25, a total of 1,200 offers were made and 1,150 students were placed. In addition, more than 50 international offers were made during IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25. 

Core (Technical) emerged as the top recruiting sector with placement distribution of 34% during IIT Delhi placement 2025. It was followed by IT, Consulting and Management sectors.

Some of the top recruiters that visited during IIT Delhi placements 2023 include Microsoft, Rakuten Mobile, HCL Technologies, Accenture, Graviton Research Capital LLP, Brain & Company, EXL Analytics, Cisco, Jaguar Land Rover India Limited and McKinsey & Company. At the end of Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2023, a record-breaking 1,300 offers were received. Further, 230 PPOs were received during IIT Delhi placements 2022.

The eligibility criteria for IIT Delhi MSc require applicants to have scored at least 55% in their graduation. They must hold a valid bachelor's degree in a relevant stream. Hence, a candidate with 60% in graduation can apply for IIT Delhi MSc admission. However, this is does not guarantee a seat for MSc at the institute. Admission to the course is entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to MSc at the institute must have a valid score in any one of the accepted entrance exams (COGJET/GATE/JAM/NET). In case a candidate fails to clear the exam cut-off required for admission, they can look for other colleges/universities offering MSc course. They can also go for colleges offering Online MSc courses.

For the General AI quota, the IIT Madras CSE cutoff 2025 stood at 171 in the first round. Till the last round, the cutoff remained the same, indicating all seats got filled after the first round of the JEE Advanced cutoff. For IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, the CSE cutoff ranks were closed at 126 and 66, respectively, for the same category. So, considering the cutoff ranks, the IIT Madras cutoff for CSE was comparatively less competitive for admission among the Engineering aspirants as compared to that of IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.
