In the last round, the closing ranks varied between 360 and 134958, wherein the most and least competitive courses for admission were MD in Radio Diagnosis and MD in Anatomy, respectively, for the students belonging to the General category under the AI quota. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET PG) is conducted to provide admission to various PG courses across the country. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the exam once a year in computer-based mode. The NEET PG 2025 cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks across different categories. For students belonging to the General AII India quota, the top three most competitive courses for admission in 2025 were MD in Radio Diagnosis, MD in General Medicine, and MS in General Surgery, with NEET PG last-round closing ranks of 360, 997, and 5093, respectively. Candidates not eligible for these courses due to their competitive ranks can also consider courses, such as MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and MD in Paediatrics, with comparatively relaxed cutoff ranks of 5772 and 6395, respectively. GMC Nagpur NEET PG Cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI Category

Compared with the General AI category, the NEET PG last round closing ranks were comparatively more relaxed among the OBC category students for admission to courses, such as MD in General Medicine and MD Paediatrics. For the OBC category candidates, the NEET PG last round closing rank for General Medicine was 1476 in the first round and 2032 in the last round of admission. MD in Radio Diagnosis was the most competitive for admission among the students belonging to the SC category under the AI quota. In the first round, the NEET PG closing rank was 2856, which further increased to 4771 during the last round of admission. On the contrary, the least competitive course for admission was the MD in Microbiology, with NEET PG first and last round closing ranks of 86068 and 157697, respectively. For the students belonging to the ST category under the AII India quota, the NEET PG first round closing ranks varied between 9199 and 130163. Similarly, in the final round, the closing ranks varied between 9199 and 197035. Considering both rounds, the MD in Radio Diagnosis turned out to be the most sought-after course for securing a seat at the Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur. NEET PG is the accepting exam for MS, MD and other courses at the PG level. Candidates with a valid NEET PG entrance score are then called for the NEET PG counselling for final seat allocation.

Under the EWS category, the GMC MD cutoff for 2025 ranged from 881 to 100408 in the last round. Within the MD course, the most and least competitive specialisations for admission were Radio Diagnosis and Pharmacology, respectively.
