B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.4

The 2021 batch of all Mechanical and agriculture engineering students is placed in a reputed company
Placements: I am a B.Tech. Agriculture Engineering Student. In my college, agriculture engineering students are 100% placed in a reputed company.
Infrastructure: The hostel room quality is good, the mess provides average food, and it provides medical facilities. The college has indoor and outdoor game facilities. The college also has the best library with the best facilities, and also a Wi-Fi facility on campus and in the hostel.
Faculty: You have to study properly to pass the semester paper. The professor provided the best guidance for passing with good marks in the exam. The teaching quality is very good. The professors are experienced and they also support us on the project, and the college provides industrial visit.
Other: The college provides good professors, and they also provide some scholarships.

Overall, a very good college.
Placements: Student percentage of my course was average. Package offered were neither too high, nor too low. As an agricultural branch recruitment companies were very low. Many of us got internships. If I said in short, our course was much more interesting than other courses.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were great. It provided its own labs and classrooms with Wi-Fi available everywhere in college as well as in hostel. The library had almost every course-related book available. Also, the facilities of hostel were very great with very good quality food in the mess. Canteen, medical facilities, games, sports, and everything were available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their way of teaching was also very good. The course curriculum was relevant and it did not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams at college were a bit difficult, and pass percentage was 40%.
Other: I wanted to study agriculture that's why I chose this course. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, and everything were good.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025
3.2
1Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Absolutely a waste of money and placements are not provided.
Placements: Only 10% of students get placed, with the highest package being 6 LPA, the lowest 2.4 LPA, and an average of 3.2 LPA, with companies like HCL and Tech Mahindra recruiting; only 20% of students get internships in Tech Mahindra, and Data Scientist is the top role being offered in my college for the 2025 placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure are good, but the Wi-Fi does not work properly. The mess food is not good, and the canteen prices are high, the warden does not respond quickly, so we face many problems, the hostel culture is not good, and local boys are dominant.
Faculty: Teachers are good and give the best quality of knowledge but do not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are too difficult, and the passing percentage is only 60%. The course curriculum is bad, so I would not like to suggest any student to get admission in this college. Teachers do not teach well, so many students fail in semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be a Data Scientist, but the teaching style should be improved. Events and fests are organized regularly.

There is a difference between reel life and real life.
Placements: The placement scenario is not very good because all engineering branches except CSE have very few placements. In fact, there are placement drives only for CSE, while the other branches receive online webinars but no placement offers. The medium packages offered to students range from 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has an impressive infrastructure with modern classrooms, labs, and common areas. The library is expansive, offering a vast collection of books and journals, making it an excellent place for study and research. Hostel life is good, but there is no backup system during power cuts, and the food quality is the worst.
Faculty: The faculty is experienced and highly supportive, encouraging a conducive learning environment. The academic programs are well-structured and challenging, designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for their careers. However, the university exam pattern is totally different from our expectations.

A good place for learning and enhancing your skills.
Placements: The placement at my college is so decent. Almost 40% of students got placed in tier 1 companies and 50% got placements in tier 2 or 3 companies. The median package at my college is 300,000. Only 40 to 50% of students got internships at TCS, Sonalikaa and Mahindra.
Infrastructure: The facilities offered in my department by the college are 22 labs provided for CSE student's practical work. All the labs are fully air-conditioned. Our college Wi-Fi covers the entire campus. There are 4 hostels provided by the college on your needs. Rooms are so clean, but the food is not so good. There are 2 grounds for sports and a dispensary for medical issues.
Faculty: There are so many faculty members available—approximately 150 in the CSE department. All having a minimum of 5 to 6 years of teaching experience with a good knowledge of teaching and subjects. Yes, the courses are so relevant and make students properly ready for industry. Semester exams are so difficult. The passing percentage is only 33%.

The hub of knowledge and a great experience.
Placements: 45 students are placed in the Electrical Engineering course. A number of companies visit for internship and placement drives, offering different packages according to the skills of students. The students are placed in various companies in Mohali, Chandigarh, and Ludhiana, Punjab. The roles offered include Sales and Technical Person, Project Engineer, Manager, Product Engineer, and Design Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very beautiful. It is very neat and clean. There are many classrooms and labs. A number of facilities are available in our department, such as Wi-Fi and projectors in every classroom. The air conditioning system is provided in our department, but sometimes we face difficulties in summers due to a lack of ventilation. There is not enough space for ventilation.
Faculty: There are several faculty members available for students who are very supportive and creative. They teach us in unique and different ways. The nature of our faculty members is very friendly, and they are very supportive. They help their students in every situation.
Other: I chose this college to become a Sub-Divisional Officer in PSPCL substations. The best thing about my course is that we do different types of experiments, and we enjoy them. However, I would like to improve the infrastructure of my department. A number of events and fests are organized by our college, which are related to technical, non-technical, and cultural activities.
