The Ministry of Education (MoE) has not announced the official release date for the NIRF Ranking 2026 yet. The 2026 rankings are expected to be released in September, following the completion of the data submission process. NIRF Government Engineering Colleges Ranking 2026
The NIRF 2026 rankings have not been released yet. The Ministry of Education is expected to announce the rankings soon, but no official release date has been notified so far. The 2026 edition will be the 11th edition of the NIRF rankings. Top Central Government Engineering Colleges
Apart from IITs and NITs, several other centrally funded institutions feature in the NIRF Engineering ranking. According to the 2025 ranking, the prominent central government institutions included IIT Indore, NIT Rourkela, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, NIT Karnataka, NIT Calicut, Jamia Millia Islamia, IIT Jodhpur, NIT Warangal, Delhi Technological University and IIT Ropar. State government-funded and public universities also feature in the NIRF Engineering list. In NIRF 2025, Jadavpur University was ranked 18th and Anna University was ranked 20th in Engineering.
