Review of Basaveshwar Engineering College.

Placements: As I am studying industrial and production engineering, we don't have great placements in our branch, but for IT branches, 200+ students out of nearly 700 are already placed, and 2 of them are from our department. The highest package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest package is 3.36 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Mphasis, Fibro etc. From our course, all the students got internships in CNC operation and programming, and some of them in Mahindra Aerospace and TATA Hitachi. System engineer, assistant system engineer, etc., roles are offered.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi facilities available throughout our college. Every department has a LAN connection. We also have good labs in every department of our college, with all the instruments and machines. The college is selected under World Bank Scheme TEQIP. We also have an AICTE idea lab in our college. We also have good facilities in the hostel, with Wi-Fi and LAN. A good hostel mess is available with quality food. Our college also supports all kinds of games, and we have good achievements.

Faculty: The college has very well-educated teachers with good teaching skills. They also take a keen interest in all the students of our college. The course is helpful in the future for students. Exams are not much difficult.

Other: I didn't choose this course. I had no option as my KCET ranking was not so good. But I never regretted it as every subject in our course is helpful for my dream, which is to be an entrepreneur. The fees depend on the course as some courses are aided, and some are not.

Overall, Basaveshwar Engineering College is one among the best college to become a good engineer.

Placements: The placements are very good. This year around 198 students got placed in TCS (Tata Consultancy Service). Many other companies like Wipro also visit our campus for the placements. Overall, the college placements are good. 80% of students got placed with an average salary of Rs. 30000 per month.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is just awesome. There is a central building for first-year students and a separate building for each department. There is a library and also a reading room. There are many playgrounds for sports. The labs and classrooms are maintained very clean.

Faculty: The faculty are very good. They have an experience of about 15-20 years. The course curriculum is excellent. The faculty members are very friendly and helpful. The labs and classrooms are maintained very clean. We do get industrial exposure. Overall, the faculty and course curriculum is very good.
