A balanced insight into student experience, facilities, and career opportunities.
Placements: Placement was good for CS and IS, IT, and BT branches. Almost 15 students got selected. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, IBM, Wipro, and Cognizant. All students got internships because it's compulsory in our college. Students opted for internships according to their choice.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure and it's very old building. You just love the environment of college. Our college had very good libraries. Free Wi-Fi system was available. Classrooms were very big and had bright lights and good air facilities. Hostel food was good. College had canteen with good service and a coffee day. College provided good medical facilities. Our college had a very big ground and it participated in many state-level competitions in cricket and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers were very supportive. If you did not understand any subject, they will conduct a special class for those students. Our college had course curriculum, and teachers prepared students for it. Semester exams I find some subjects easy, some medium. The highest percentage was 9.4 CGPA for our civil branch.
Other: I chose this work because I am interested in construction buildings. Best thing about the course was that you learn many interesting things, topics about construction, and civil drawings. Events and fests were very grand in our college even I danced with my friend in an event. Scholarships were available for merit students.

It is a really good college to join in.
Placements: The college is good for enjoying and placements. Indeed a nice place to be during the course of engineering. It has a good program in Basaveshwar Engineering College with 730 placements in 2023 and more than 500 in 2024. The highest package offered by Alpa is 12 LPA in 2024.
Infrastructure: Basveshwar Engineering College has one of the best infrastructures and a very good hostel with a great verities of food every day. There are two hostels to accommodate and a girl's hostel with more than 100 seats. All the rooms in the hostel are provided with fans and furniture with good maintenance.
Faculty: Faculty members in the Basaveshwar Engineering College are kind and always supportive. They are available most of the time. They are highly skilled and qualified professionals. They are really good at teaching with a minimum of more than 10 experience. Semester-end exams are of moderate difficulty level.

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements were not that good for our batch. The percentage of students that got placed was less and the companies that visited the campus were also less. I don't exactly know the highest and the lowest salary offered. There is a placement cell and it is working hard to bring new companies.
Infrastructure: This college has an excellent infrastructure. It has Wi-Fi facility, medical facility, library, nice classrooms and a big sports ground. The canteen is also good. The hostels are really good. Separate junior and senior hostels and dining halls. The hostels have got TV halls too.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and the teaching quality is really good. Teaching techniques were also good and the teaching staff was excellent. Teachers of different departments are of different types. Besides the teaching staff, the non-teaching staff is also good.

This is one of the top colleges in north Karnataka.
Placements: Every year, nearly 200 candidates are placed in TATA. The salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and there are many companies which visit our college like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Robosoft, SLK Soft, Caritor, Integral Micro, Apollo Tyres, HP to recruit the students. From CS and IS engineering, 34% students are placed. From civil and mechanical, 11% students were placed. From E&C and EE, 33% students were placed. From biotechnology, 2% students were placed in the last 3 years, according to the college website.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, our campus is of 91 acres and was constructed on 45,000 Sq. m. Wi-Fi is enabled on the campus with 20 Mbps speed. The playground is of 5 acres. There are 1200 computers. There are seminar halls. The library is available with more than 1 lac volumes. The auditorium is available. There are 2 boys and 2 girls hostels which can accomodate 1500 people.
Faculty: In terms of teaching, this college is not less than an IIT. Almost all the professors hold PhD and have many years of teaching experience. There are 221 teaching staff. There are 56 PhD holders and 135 teaching staff. There are 245 non-teaching staff available in the college, and this college is affiliated to VTU, and the professors are always ready to help.
Other: There is a national level fest called fusion, in which other colleges participate. Many more events like Novus etc. are conducted in the college.
