Good placements and has good campus environment.

Placements: There are more than 120 students in our batch. The highest among all the other courses of our batch. We have highest strength students. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest is approximately 2.2 LPA or 3.2 LPA in the course information science.

Infrastructure: There are many labs available on our campus. There is one library and classrooms are pretty good. Engineering life is the best life. I am not a hosteller but the hostel is pretty good. Mess is also well and there is a canteen on our campus.

Faculty: Teachers are also responsible and cooperative with the students. They are qualified, experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable about the topic. The semester exams are strictly conducted. The passing percentage is 40% including internal marks.

Other: This course is pretty good and it's highly prioritized on our campus. There will be no events conducted. If they conduct then it will be about studies and they call it an event.

A good college for students’ career building.

Placements: The highest placements package offered in the college is 15 lacs per annum and the lowest is a minimum of 3.5 Lacs per annum. We get almost all the good companies to visit for on-campus interviews. All top companies hire our college’s students. But one disappointment is that only a few branches get high paying job offers from companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and the facilities are better here. There is a huge library with collections of many books related to the courses. There is a separate newspaper reading and magazine reading hall along with a huge separate space for studying. Classroom facilities are all good with smart boards and latest technologies.

Faculty: The college has almost all the faculty members having an experience of more than 8 years. All the teachers teach well making sure the students understand, except a few. The exams are conducted in a serious manner and the subjects seem to be a bit difficult in the first year. But eventually, we get adjusted with the subjects and we find them interesting.

My department, Information Science and Engineering, has well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a central library with plenty of resources. The hostel facilities are okay. Rooms are clean, and basic needs are taken care of. The food in the mess is average, but the canteen gives more options.

Faculty: Faculty in our department are helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them are well-qualified and teach with both academic and practical approaches. The course is relevant and aligned with current industry standards. It helps in building a strong base for placements or higher studies.

Good teaching and good placements.

Placements: The college has one of the best programs at Basaveshwar Engineering College, with 730 placements in 2023. The highest LPA in 2023 is INR 7 lacs per annum. There are no restrictions. TCS, HCL, Mahindra, Infosys, and others have been there, and CS has more placement offers in our college.

Infrastructure: The facilities are good, and the Wi-Fi, canteen, and medical services are helpful at your college. The mess is good for INR 50000 per year, and there is good food, some special sweets, and daily evening snacks provided. Medical facilities and games are also available in the college.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful in our college, and knowledge is more important in our college. The course is useful to our college, which needs to understand our department. The internship is also available in our department, and we get it in our 6th semester.

Other: Fest and surroundings are clean and scholarship is provided.

Our college provides good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: In our college, almost 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Continental, Tech Mahindra, Infogain, Agni, Girmiti, etc., visited our campus. Almost 30% of students got internships. Top role offered was software engineer.

Infrastructure: The library had outdated books and a smaller stock of textbooks. Our classrooms were clean and comfortable. The college had both indoor and outdoor playgrounds. The hostel rooms were good. The quality of the food was not good. Wi-Fi was not available.

Faculty: Our teachers gave us more theoretical knowledge and less practical knowledge. The syllabus was outdated. The course was not helpful for the industry. Whatever we learned in college was completely different from what was expected in industry. Semester exams were difficult. The pass percentage was 60%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in programming. They had to focus on updating the syllabus. There was no fest or event conducted by our department.
