A review of BBK DAV College.
Placements: Placements for our batch and other seniors were overall good. Most of the students get jobs, and the starting salary offered was above Rs. 50,000 per month. Some are offered a salary between Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month, according to their academic percentage. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs. 75,000 per month. Companies like IBM, Birla Sun Life, and many others visited the campus for placements. These companies offer many jobs such as translator, film/video editor, and many others, based on the academic scores of students. Internships are mainly provided in India. There is also a placement cell in college. They call us one by one to ask some questions and then offer a job. Almost 70-80% of students get jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very well-developed. The campus is full of hygiene and cleanliness. Wi-Fi facilities are also provided to students, but they can only use for useful works. The college also has practical labs which are very well-maintained. There is a library. There are medical rooms with well-trained doctors. The classrooms of the college were too airy with smart facilities. Canteen in the college was not well-maintained, and it lacks hygiene. There are flies on food.
Faculty: Teachers of the college are very polite. They always talk very sweetly. They are very well-qualified. They always help with our difficulties. Their method of teaching was superb. The faculty ratio was not that good; it was average. Even I didn't get any industry exposure.
Other: Events are held in the college regularly. The campus crowd is average. The connectivity is too good. There is some scope for scholarships.

Other: Hi, I am an alumni of BBKDAV College. It was amazing being part of the college. There has been always some activities in the college to engage the students. The infrastructure of the college is the best thing.
Students of BBKDAV College are always listed in the university toppers list. The faculty is very good and sessions are very interactive. The management has always been helping hand for students. Joining the college is worth. The crowd and campus of the college is amazing. Proud to be a part of BBKDAV.

Other: College is good for women. But u have to practice yourself. Teachers are good and helpful. Campus is up to the mark. College hostel is available in campus and Lawrence road is big street for food and shopping where college is situated. Amritsar is a good city and have a rich heritage. In college u will find a big computer lab A Big library u can rent books from there and a big auditorium.

Faculty lacks industry exposure, teaching outdated theory with no practical.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed from my course. The placements were decent overall, not amazing but not too bad either. The average package offered was around Rs. 10,000 per month. Most students ended up staying locally for job opportunities. Internships were also offered to a fair number of students, mostly through local companies. The top roles offered were related to graphic design and multimedia production.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was okay. Around 40% of it felt well-maintained and useful. Wi-Fi was available and decent enough for basic stuff. Classrooms and labs were functional but nothing fancy. The canteen is big no. The food was not something you look forward to. Hostel facilities were average, and there wasn't much to talk about in terms of sports or medical facilities.
Faculty: The exams were all about how much you can write, not how much you understand. It's more about filling sheets than actual learning. Most teachers were narrow-minded and sick of outdated methods. The curriculum doesn't prepare you for real industry challenges, and critical thinking was not encouraged. It's frustrating when you were trying to grow but the system stuck in the past.
Other: I chose this course because I was passionate about design and wanted to build a career in UI/UX and graphics. But this institute didn't met those expectations. There was no proper fest, zero creative community, and the crowd wasn't super collaborative either. I wish the teaching staff would stop being so rigid and support students who want to think outside of the box. More exposure to real client projects or internships would have made it worth it, but nothing like that. Needs improvement in almost every area.

Placements: 80% student got placements in graduation of my collage .top recruiting companies are SBI,HDFC,multinational companies,there is no internship in this collage,hardworking is most important in this course.And very desiplined teachers are there And students also desiplined.
Infrastructure: All land are Available in our collage .aircondition facilities are Available in labs .wifi facility also Available here.good And hygenic food are also Available in canteen.medical facilities are very good .large playground is there for sports.And games.
Faculty: Yes teachers are qualified And knowlegeble.And very helpful nature of teacher,And he is very kind in nature.And peacefully speak with us every teacher are related to our courses And higher educated.99.9 percent of students of any course are pass And got the degree.

It was one of the best colleges in Amritsar.
Placements: Our college had a good placements record. Many reputed companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS and Concentrix visited our college for placements. The maximum salary offered was Rs. 4,000 per month. We also visited other colleges for off-campus placements. Our college had the best placements record in Amritsar.
Infrastructure: Facilities, infrastructure, library, study material and everything was good. Our college provided a platform to all students for many activities like sports, dance and other things also. Our college was very good and had a good auditorium.
Faculty: Faculty members had very good teaching skills, and they were experienced enough and very friendly as well. Moreover, they provided us extra study material, and the faculty members were very helpful. They even helped us in other fields other than teaching us.
