BIBS has helped in revitalizing my career.

Placements: I got a 6-month internship at Balmer Lawrie (a PSU). All of my batch-mates were able to secure their internships as well. Some of them with a one-year tenure, and others with PPO. Placement is never easy in the SCM domain. I (along with four other batch mates) was fortunate to land 8 LPA salary package from a popular e-commerce company.

Infrastructure: The campus comprises of three large buildings, relatively spacious more than enough to accommodate all students and faculty members. There is dedicated rooms for group discussion and extra circular activities. Internet is provided by the institute. Classes are conducted on whiteboards and via projectors. Food stalls and canteen are available and open 24/7 outside the campus.

Faculty: As Supply Chain is a niche area, it requires special expertise. We were fortunate to have faculty members having more than 40+ years of industry experience. From the onset, we were exposed to the theoretical aspect of supply chain, that progressive became more detailed. Along with our regular classes, we had the SCM Diploma course from Teach Mahindra Institute with 6 6-month duration, conducted within the campus periodically. There are four semesters, the first two are common for all domains. The third and fourth semesters for the specialization one takes. The pattern for the exam is followed by the affiliated university and the institute as well.

It is a great experience and career development.

Placements: The Bengal Institute of Business Studies offers a lot of experience to the students, and as a result, students achieve 100% placements. All students get the opportunity to be placed in huge companies like ITC, Marico, PWC, etc., in different roles respective to their courses

Infrastructure: There are a total of three buildings under the Bengal Institute of Business Studies. One of them is dedicated to finance specialization only, while the other two are for the junior and senior batches of other specializations. The campus has Wi-Fi and all the necessary amenities.

Faculty: Faculty members in The Bengal Institute of Business Studies are extremely experienced and knowledgeable. They provide students with real-time insights that help them get their desired companies and build their careers thereafter. There are dedicated faculty members for both years.

Other: I choose this for placements, and I am currently placed at Marico.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: I have heard that the only thing good in this college is the placements. But I am still pursuing MBA so I will not be able to say anything about the placements. But the companies we are getting for internships are not at all reputable, not good. Absolutely average companies are coming for internships.

Infrastructure: Absolutely dissatisfied with the overall facility and infrastructure of the college. The management is also not good. I am very disappointed with the washrooms of this college and no system inside the college.

Faculty: Faculty members don't complete the syllabus. They only give notes to the students and expect them to do all the things on their own. Proper classes are also not taken. Before semester 1, we faced a lot of problems but still there is no solution for anything. Faculty members are also not good, very bad.

I think I made the best choice. I got the best academic support as well as placement support.

Placements: Talking about the package of our college it varies from 5 LPA to its goes upto 9 LPA. Our college provides national domestic and international placement too. Top recruiting companies are PwC, EY, KPMG, SBI AMC, and HDFC AMC. Mostly they hire for analytical posts.

Infrastructure: My college has 3 buildings with best resources. Also, a lot of conference rooms are there. We have a library with the best resources of books. The books also have digital and physical copies of books. We don't have mess or hostel but in nearby location there are a lot of PGs and messes.

Faculty: Our college has a lot of specialisation. For each specialisation, our college has specific faculty members. Not only that we have proper academic faculty members and we also have placement trainers. We have 4 semesters and 4 quarter semesters. So with academics, we have become ready for the industry.

Other: True beauty varies here. Honestly, I want to join the corporate world with a good MBA degree so when I am looking for the best fit, I will go to my college. I think I am making the right choice.

Placements: Our college brings in many big companies for all specializations, including ITC, HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Marico, Mondelez, Asian Paints, and Berger. The highest package is 10 lacs and the average package is 5.5 lacs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and the courses are well-designed to help students learn properly. They provide training for placements, and overall, the institute makes students. However, there is no hostel.

Faculty: The faculty are very good and very cooperative. They design the curriculum in a way that is conducive to student learning. There are eight semesters in two years, with the college taking four semesters and the university taking the other four. The exams are very good.

Other: I chose marketing course because placements are good in marketing specialisation. They do many events and programs.

Not recommended this college to anyone.

Placements: The placement ratio is not good. Many students got placements in third-party companies. After two interviews, they don't give opportunities for students to sit for placements. Most of their placement reviews seem fake, and they don't provide good internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are very congested, and they are held in a flat-based campus. There is no proper library or auditorium. The seat intake is over 120 in each classroom, making it tough for us to concentrate on lectures among so many students. The toilets are not clean.

Faculty: The faculty is not very good. They complete the syllabus on time but are not helpful or supportive toward students. They create exam questions and check answer papers, but students don't receive certificates after two years of passing out.
