I am badly dissatisfied this college. I would not recommend this college.

Placements: The placements of this college are not so good. About 30-40% students gets placement from the campus every year rest of the students have to make efforts themselves to get the placements. The highest and the lowest packages offered are 10 LPA and 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: College lacks in infrastructure because the academic buildings are poor in quality and also not sustainable. The facilities provided by the college are not good. Hostel facility is available only for 1st year students. The mess offers good quality food.

Faculty: The faculty of this college is average, teachers are good but not too good because they are not able to clear the doubts of every students, however the course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students industry ready. Semester exams happens every year.

Other: This is my honest review about this college, the College is overall below average.

If you're not satisfied, you can get degrees from this college, study hard for the government exam.

Placements: In this college, civil engineering students don't get placement as compared to CSE and branches, so all the students prepare for GATE and government exams. The highest package is INR 10 LPA, and the lowest is INR 3.5 LPA. Very few students, with some exceptions, get an internship from this branch. CSE has the highest scope in this college.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good in this college, but the infrastructure is old like all government facilities. College, the lab has outdated equipment, but the library is well-stocked with a wide range of books and a poor international reputation. The first and second years received a brand new hostel with all types of facilities, while the third and fourth years received an old hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are strict, but there is no 75% attendance rule, so you get enough time to prepare for anything. The course doesn't help make the industry friendly. The midterms are difficult, but the final exam is simple. Almost 90% of students don't get any backlogs.

Other: This course has good government job opportunities. Fests and events happen once a year. All the students can easily get loans and scholarships from college.

It is an affordable college.

Placements: Only a few students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are JK Cement, Prism Cement, and TCS.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is old. There are canteens, banks, a cricket field, and a post office near our college. The food served in our canteen is very good. Our college has a huge library and is filled with books. The lab's equipment is outdated. Classrooms are spacious. Our campus provides a Wi-Fi facility, but its speed is low.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and well-skilled. Most of them are IIT graduates who instruct in the best and most straightforward manner. Students from this college are well-qualified and competent to work in any field because they have a strong understanding of their subjects.

Other: Our college organises many extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, etc. I opted for this course because it offers a wide range of opportunities for civil engineering in Bihar. It is an excellent college for students who want to pass the GATE exam.

Review of Bhagalpur College of Engineering.

Placements: Around 8-10% of students got placed on their own. The packages offered are 7-10 Lacs per annum. All the students got internships during their academics. They were trained in the software used for the drawing (2D & 3D drafting), such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Google setup.

Infrastructure: There are all the facilities like Wi-Fi, library etc. The classrooms are fair enough. Lab sessions are conducted as per the schedule. The hostel has good and proper facilities. The rooms are clean. The staff also wash our utensils if needed.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified. The exams are very tough, and the passing percentage is 35% in each subject. Even mid-semester exams are very difficult. Students are not allowed to bring their bags during exams.

Our college facilities are good and helpful.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. Around 10% of students get placed at Ambuja. Maximum pass-out students get government jobs and a maximum of them get placed in private companies.

Infrastructure: Our college provides hostel facilities for boys and girls. It has 8 hostels that have spacious rooms which are periodically maintained and serve hygienic food. Hostel warden and superintendent are caring and have proper security to ensure safe and pleasant stay for students to focus on their studies. Hostel buildings are fully Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are difficult because students do not get more time to study and the syllabus is not completed on time. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I chose this course because I want to become a good engineer. Our college is not good because, every year, Ganga river floods enter the campus, so the college is suspended for 1 month approximately. It is located on the bank of river Ganga and beside NH80 and is spread over 167 acres flanked by the Ganges and Bhagalpur-kahalgaon road at 7 km from Bhagalpur railway station. It takes 5 hours and it is around 225 km away by train from Patna from Bhagalpur Railway Junction. Around 60% of students are present in our class.

It is an average college, and the fee structure is good.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements. Companies won't visit our college for placements to recruit students. Around 50-60% of students got placed off-campus in companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. The salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. If you are more diligent, you should apply for internships or off-campus placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities compared to other colleges in Bihar. For the practical, you will receive a wide variety of tools and machinery. Some machines are inoperable and too old. CSE department labs are good. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The hostel is old. Two new hostels are built recently, but they are currently available to first-year boys. The quality of the hostel food is good. A hospital is not available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Their teaching quality is the best. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. Our college is affiliated with AKU. Exams are conducted by AKU, Patna. Students should prepare well for final semester exams.

Other: There are no campus placements for the CSE course, so I opted for civil engineering. I chose this college because of its reasonable fees. Our college should improve everything, but these are entirely under the control of the college administration and the Bihar government.

Our college is good in terms of education.

For sports and games, we have one badminton court, a gym, table tennis, etc. First-year students are not allowed to play. After the second year, students can play in fields and courts.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Their teaching quality is the best. They conduct laboratory classes. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. Exams are conducted by AKU University, Patna. Students should study well to score good marks.

Other: There are no campus placements for the CSE course so I opted for civil engineering. I chose this college because of its reasonable fees. Our college should improve in every field.

I am satisfied with academics but dissatisfied with overall performance.

Placements: No companies visit our college, but almost 60% of students get placement by applying off-campus, mainly for computer science and engineering branches. The salary package starts at 4.5 LPA. NHAI provides internships for final-year civil engineering students and also provides jobs on the basis of their performance.

Infrastructure: There are proper Wi-Fi facilities in the library and classrooms. Hostel maintenance is good and the mess also provides different food items with a good taste. There is no proper working of lab equipment, which results in wrong readings and many machines are damaged.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers help us to solve our doubts. Mid-semester exams are of a moderate level, which prepares us well for the end-semester exam, which is quite tough. End-semester exams are conducted by AKU.

Other: I chose this course because it provides a high scope of civil engineering in Bihar. Field work gives us more practical knowledge. I wish this college provided a perfect laboratory with new machines because there are many machines that are not working. This college is not good in extracurricular activities. There are no events or fests.
