Loknayak Jaiprakash Institute of Technology, Chapra, is best for low rankers in JEE Main.

Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed. The highest package reached 12 LPA, and the average was between 2 to 4 LPA. Many core companies came, like Ultratech, Cogito, and Ecospace. In my course, B. Tech, many companies offered internships, such as Bihar Bhawan Niman Limited and Pul Nirman Limited.

Infrastructure: In our college, almost all facilities were available, like Wi-Fi, labs, very smart classrooms, and a good library. The hostel facility was average, and the food quality was also average. But there were many canteens available that provided good food. Overall, the infrastructure of the academic and hostel buildings was good.

Faculty: Our teachers were very cooperative and well-qualified. Many of them came through BPSC, and some were from IITs and NITs. The delivery quality of knowledge was also good. The exam was not difficult, but not easy. Many students had backlogs and failed in some subjects. However, the pass percentage was good. Almost 90% of students passed.

Other: I chose Civil Engineering because I wanted to become a civil engineer since childhood, and this college provided the course at a low fee.

Absolutely good college, as this is a state government college.

Placements: 10% of students get placement in our course. The highest placement package was Rs 2.16 LPA, and the lowest package was 1.80 LPA. Ecospace company had the highest placements. The conditions for internships are not good, and there is no help from the college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good on campus. Six hostels are functioning in the college, with five boys' hostels and one girls' hostel. Each hostel has a separate mess on the ground floor. The food quality is good, but the canteen and medical facilities are below average. The campus has one cricket ground and one football ground.

Faculty: There are eight faculty members in the civil engineering course, all of whom are capable and competent. The quality of their teaching is also good. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. The level of semester exams remains moderate, and the passing percentage is correct, with very few students failing in some subjects.

Other: I chose this college for preparing for civil services. The environment should be improved, and events and fests occur too infrequently.

LNJPIT Chapra is a state government college.

Placements: My name is Nayan and I'm a final year student in Loknayak Jaiprakash Institute of Technology. There are many types of companies that visit our college, like TCS, Ecospace, and others. The placement percentage is a minimum of 35% only. The top companies that visit are TCS, Wipro, Ecospace, and others.

Infrastructure: In our college, Loknayak Jaiprakash Institute of Technology provides many types of facilities like hostels provided in the first year, a mess, and free Wi-Fi in the hostel as well as on campus. The quality of facilities of the college is overall good, but the mess quality is moderate, not good. Many games occur like cricket, basketball, etc.

Faculty: There are many faculty members in our college who are well-qualified and have done M.Tech from different IITs and NITs. After that, they clear the BPSC professor exam. Overall, the teachers are very cooperative and helpful in different circumstances. The level of semester exams is easy to moderate but sometimes tough.

Other: I'm from the 2020 batch and I will get my degree in July 2024. I chose this course because India is an underdeveloping country, so construction work is significant. That's why I chose this course, and this college is government-run.

Review of Loknayak Jai Prakash Institute of Technology.

Placements: Our college placement is good. Placement ratio is improving day by day. CSE branch ratio is good. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cisco, and HCL. The highest placement package is 8 LPA, and the lowest placement package is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are very good. Wi-Fi is available with good speed. Labs facility is very good. One library in our college. The library is full of books. The hostel infrastructure is also good. Food in the mess and canteen is good.

Faculty: In our college, all teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The faculty-student ratio is okay. The teaching quality of faculty members is very good. The mid-term exam is not hard to pass. The semester exams are a little bit hard to pass. The passing percentage is about 90 percent.

Other: I like civil engineering. Our college does not organize many events and fest in campus.

The professors are highly qualified. There is a need for improvement in infrastructure.

Placements: 1. In the 2019–2023 batch, there were a total of 12 students selected from the civil engineering branch. 2. The lowest package was Rs 300000/annum. The average package was Rs. 360000/annum. The highest package was Rs. 960000/annum. The top recruiting companies were L&T and Ahuja Construction Limited. 4. Almost 20% of students got internships from the AutoCAD course at Internshala. The top five roles offered were junior engineer and assistant engineer.

Infrastructure: The quality of the infrastructure is good. My college has five boys hostels and one girl hostel. A Wi-Fi facility is available inside the campus. The condition of the labs is not good. Classrooms have better dimensions and facilities. A well-maintained library is also available. The quality of the facilities in my hostel is good. Food quality is available in both the mess and the canteen. Medical, sports, and game facilities are very good.

Faculty: 1. The teachers at my college are highly qualified and experienced. They are very helpful. The teaching quality is excellent. 2. The course curriculum is very relevant. The best qualified teachers help us be industry-ready. 3. Semester exams are very low. Almost 97% of students passed the exam.

Other: I chose civil engineering because it is very interesting to me and is in high demand in the government sector.

Review of Loknayak Jai Prakash Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good, but it is improving day by day. In order to get placed students have to apply off-campus, and very less companies visit our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata, HCL, and GAIL that visit our campus to hire students. Internships rate are very low, and almost 20% of students get internships in companies like GAIL, etc.

Infrastructure: There is good facility of Wi-Fi with good speed and every time available. Also, there is separate laboratory for each department with air-conditioner. There is a huge library with all types of books fully air-conditioned. Classrooms are good with smart board and other facilities. Hostel facilities are also good which remains clean along with fire extinguisher in all flanks. There is one canteen and medical room and facilities to go out in case of emergency also. Sports facility is very good with a huge ground for cricket and football along with all other games.

Faculty: Teachers are very well trained, helpful, and well qualified. The maximum of them having Ph.D. degree in their respective subjects. Their teaching methodology is good and easy to understand. Separate courses are there which makes students ready for industry work. Semester exams are not difficult at all, it is very easy and one just need to follow the teachers. Almost all the students easily pass the semester exam.

It is an engineering college in Bihar.

Placements: About 40% of students get placed every year from our college. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. HCL, Ultratech Cement, etc., are some companies which visit our college. All students get internships from here. Engineering courses in four branches are offered in our college.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our college, including 24x7 Wi-Fi, smart labs with automatic setup, a good library and smart classrooms. There is a hostel with all facilities like mess and medical. The quality of food served is nice in our mess. All sports and games are available in our college.

Faculty: All teachers here are GATE qualified and very helpful in nature. Their teaching quality is very good, and all teachers are very knowledgeable. This course is very relevant, and students become industry-ready after completing this course. It is difficult to pass semester examinations.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure, faculty members, facilities, hostels, & college environment.

Placements: Placements for civil and mechanical are not much better in this college. But for EEE and CSE there is a good scope of placements but rare with high packages. Around 4 to 5 companies for CSE and EEE use to visit our campus every year, and around 15-20 students get placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the whole college is valuable. It doesn't look good from the outside because no painting is done in recent years but from inside, it gives a great feeling. Classrooms are spacious and decorated creates good vibes for studying. The Wi-Fi facility is okay but needs a bit of improvement keeping in mind that it is an engineering college. Hostels are good and very much spacious and are the best to leave in. We have 4 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel, 1 academic building 1 lab building, 1 workshop building also a building for principal sir and a few staff members. Two big hostels are under construction.

Faculty: All the faculty members are much qualified, knowledge and also very helpful. The teaching quality of a few faculty members is amazing, few are okay but very few are there who needs to look upon their teaching style. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semesters exams are tough here. Around 70% of the students qualify for their semesters without any backlogs, rest 30% get backlogs in 1 or 2 subjects.

Other: Everything on the campus is good and we have good connectivity. But in recent years, things have not gone well. The campus is ragging-free. Girls are very safe here. Scholarships are provided every year as per government norms. A lot of Extracurricular activities are held in the college. It is valuable for civil engineering.
