College is equipped with professional-grade audio-visual labs and green screen studios.
Placements: Common roles are Graphic Designer, Video Editor, Cinematographer, UI/UX Designer, Animator, VFX Artist, Art Director, and 3D Modelling Artist. Around 80- 95% of students participate in internships during or after their course. These internships often lead to pre-placement offers.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the academic and hostel blocks. Speed is generally good for browsing and academic purposes, though occasionally connectivity issues can occur, especially during peak usage times in hostels. Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided with 24/7 security, ensuring safety and privacy.
Faculty: Students consistently appreciate qualified, approachable faculty, friendly relations, well-organized seminars, and helpful guidance. Faculty-led seminars and industry interaction sessions are also frequently highlighted. Regular submission of assignments, journals, presentations, and design projects is mandatory. Many subjects (e.g., Editing, Photography, Web Design) include hands-on lab work and final viva sessions, evaluated by internal and external examiners.
Other: Course emphasizes project-based learning through photography, short films, editing, design software, and studio production. Students gain mastery in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma, and camera handling, which are in high demand.

College is friendly and kind.
Placements: Placement percentage is around 60-65% of Tamil department students who were successfully placed in relevant fields. Schools, publishing houses, media channels, and Tamil content startups were the major recruiters. Government opportunities were given to students who cleared competitive exams and were recruited into Tamil Development and Cultural Departments.
Infrastructure: College has a spacious campus spread over 5 lacs sq.ft, with 1.7 lacs sq.ft. of built-up area. Classrooms are well-ventilated, and smart classrooms are also completed. The college infrastructure is very good.
Faculty: We have experienced faculty led by a Ph.D., HoD, and supported by five other Ph.D. qualified assistant professors, working as a dedicated team. Tamil department has a total of 13 faculty members, each handling around 17 to 21 lecture hours per month. Internships & Projects include collaborations with schools, media houses, and publishing houses (organized via placement cell) and provide hands-on experience. Entrepreneurial training is college-wide. Ethos extends to Tamil students through workshops aimed at language-based enterprises (e.g., tutoring, content creation).

This college is very good.
Placements: Starting salaries typically range from 3.6 LPA to 6 LPA, with top roles (in UX/UI, cinematography, or direction) offering up to 10-12 LPA. Internship stipends vary between Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 20,000 per month, depending on the role, company, and city (e.g., higher in Bangalore and Chennai).
Infrastructure: Mess food is hygienic and offers a balanced diet, though variety and taste can be improved. Common rooms in hostels are equipped with indoor games like table tennis, carrom, and chess. These areas provide a good break from academics and help foster peer bonding. Recreational events and tournaments are also organized occasionally.
Faculty: Exams are well-structured and fair, with strict invigilation and transparent evaluation processes. Practical exams often include a viva voce to assess hands-on skills. Formal student feedback is collected and used by the Curriculum Development Panel to iterate on course structure. Faculty members are often industry-experienced and student-friendly, offering practical guidance, encouraging creativity, and mentoring student projects and portfolios.
Other: With the rise of social media, OTT platforms, online branding, and content marketing, visual communications are needed more than ever. The course builds a strong foundation in media ethics, communication theory, audience analysis, and visual literacy.

Comprehensive review of commerce program: Placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: 45 commerce students secured placements in companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and HCL. Students join as business analysts, finance trainees, and process associates. The average package is 4.2 LPA. Internships done at SBI generally have a strong placement record with a wide range of companies recruiting from their various campuses. In recent years, they have seen a mix of high-paying offers and a large volume of overall offers. The highest package is quite impressive, and the average package tends to be in the moderate range.
Infrastructure: Commerce students benefit from well-equipped classrooms, a digital library, and modern labs. The hostel offers clean rooms, Wi-Fi, nutritious food, and 24x7 security. It is ideal for focused learning and comfortable living. It has comprehensive infrastructure across its campuses, including well-equipped labs, spacious lecture halls, advanced medical facilities, and robust IT infrastructure. The university also provides separate hostel facilities for both men and women. It has a transport facility and various recreational amenities like sports complexes and cafeterias.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and supportive, delivering an industry-relevant syllabus. Subjects are well-structured. Exams are fair, and the pass percentage is consistently high. Faculty members are engaged in teaching, research, and administrative roles, including dean, head of departments (HODs), professors, associate professors, and assistant professors, as well as non-teaching staff members.
Other: Commerce offers a strong career scope in finance and business, so I chose it. Events like BizFest add excitement here. It has a friendly campus, a good crowd, and great faculty support. Scholarships are helpful for meritorious students. There is a scope for more industry tie-ups.

The college is friendly.

Infrastructure: The food in the canteen is hygienic. We get subsidized food in college canteens and hostels. Vegetarian and non-veg options are often available. There is a free campus Wi-Fi (mostly limited speed), and it is accessible in classrooms, libraries, and hostels. There is access to textbooks, journals, research papers, and e-resources. Some have digital libraries and e-journals.

It has balanced college life with learning and fun.
Placements: We are proud to announce that 95% of placements are provided in our MBA batch. Top recruiting companies for our course are Deloitte, HDFC Bank, and Infosys. Roles offered are analyst, relationship manager, and HR associate. The salary packages offered range from 6-12 LPA. 30 students secured internships.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is excellent with well-equipped labs, 24x7 Wi-Fi, and a rich library. Hostels are clean, and the food is hygienic. The canteen offers a good variety of food. Sports facilities and medical care are available and well-maintained. This college is the best.
Faculty: The MBA course offers industry-relevant subjects, with frequent updates to the syllabus. Faculty members link theory to practice. Exams are fair and held twice a year. The pass percentage is average, and it is 70-80%. Guest lectures enhance understanding of market trends. The college has the best environment.
Other: I chose the MBA course to gain managerial insights. The curriculum is solid and interactive. Campus life is exciting with regular events. It is surrounded by cafes and co-working spaces. It needs better placement and exposure for startups and entrepreneurship.
